Love the color. Still can’t get past the body style though. How are you liking it so far?

Im not going to lie, I miss the sound of the V8. I am going to do a midpipe to somewhat wake it up a tad as far as sound. All in all I am loving it. I forgot how silky smooth a BMW inline 6 is. This thing is QUICK!!! The build quality is on another level, even over the S650. I actually love the quirkiness of the looks of the car. On the road and in person I feel she looks great. I get a ton of compliments.

What gave it away?

In all honesty, this Corolla (2nd one) is the *first* car that I have bought without drinking a few beers before going to the dealer. It's also the first car I've bought without getting high too.

Don't get me wrong, the Mustang was fast as fuck. Fickle as fuck too. The last few months in the heat it didn't like to start, or idle, or stay running at a stop light. Between the CEL's I did get, and the Roush tune not being loaded correctly on the new engine, it was time to go. A GT with 100k in it shouldn't be such a downer when I'm trying to smoke a bowl on my way to work. That 0% interest was a bright spot though.
Na I'm just messing with you. Enjoy the GR!

Went and checked out a C7 Grand Sport today. Put a deposit down to have them hold it for a few days. Going to look at one other car on Monday then will decide which one I’m going to buy. This is an addition to the garage, the Mustang isn’t going anywhere

That’s an amazing color. I always loved the C7

Diesel Gladiator with some nice mods already
friend trailered his Glad with all of 320 miles to AK since he's built a house an hour outside Anchorage. Tried to sell it this past week. Dealer expected him to take a 50% haircut in less than 1 yr of ownership.

If anyone wants a Glad (battleship gray?) with no miles, he'll accept offers a tad more reasonable.

Wow that’s unfortunate! These things tend to hold value pretty decently but I wonder if the Alaskan market is different. Hope he’s able to sell it privately for what it’s worth.

Welp... I no longer own a Mustang. I traded my 2019 GT in Need For Green with a Roush P2, headers, tune, etc for a Corolla. :). If you've read any of my posts you may remember me saying it was going to eventually happen and it did. I went from an 8 cylinder with 800hp (crank) to a 3 cylinder with 300hp. After putting a new engine in the Stang at 21,000 miles the new engine turned into a PITA rabbit hole.. Honestly if the car wouldn't have been NFG I would have got rid of it a LONG time ago. That green though... What a looker. Here she is looking sad. Part of her at least.

I don't miss it. Who would have thought a Corolla would cost as much as that Mustang. I hope the new owner enjoys it longer than I did. It had 35,000 miles on it and they gave me $37,000 for it. In the end it cost me 2 a mile. NOT including gas and insurance.

Now I need to figure out how to drive a manual again.

Hopefully it don't end up in a fireball on the side of the highway for going over 80mph with those stock tires.
