I'm going to need to get the front of the car in the air when I work on it in a couple of weeks so I guess I'm going to need some ramps. Race ramps seems to be popular but they aren't cheap. I haven't ruled them out but I haven't needed to use ramps in years so they might sit after I'm done. I've found other options for $50-$75. They'll probably work fine but I don't want to worry about quality while I'm under the car.

What do ya got?

My Daily Driver is a 4Runner TRD Pro. Its fairly heavy at just north of 5000 lbs with all the suspension mods, skid plates and big wheels. I've been using home made word ramps. 2x8 in wood put together starting at OAL 40". The right angle faces are cut to approximately 30 degree bevel for ease of tires going up. The 4Runner is a piece of cake...put it in 4low, crawl set at slowest setting and it walks right up.

Put my GT up on them the other day and with the torque-no issue.

Low profile “plastic” ramps bought from Advance. They’re rated for 5-6k lbs I believe and they’ve held up incredibly well. They only weigh a few lbs each as well. They’re the only ramps that I have been able to get my 00 GT, Focus ST and my ‘16 GT up without scraping lips. I think they were about $50.

I use rhino ramps I bought from one of the auto stores years ago. Use it on all of my vehicles past and present.

Just an FYI ... I have an older set of 2-piece 67" XT Race Ramps w/10" lift & they will NOT work on a 2019 GT PP2. :curse:

Mine are the 30" Rally Ramps and work just fine on my 18 PP1. Will be close once I finally get my lowering springs installed.

Jack and jack stands. My rhino ramps slide around on my garage floor too much and the jack stands allow a lot more room to work under the car.

I used Rhino Ramps on my '15 PP until I installed the Ford Performance lowering springs (M-5300-X). After that they wouldn't clear so I went to the Race Ramps RR-XT-2 67" 2 piece. They just clear the splitter by probably a half inch or less. So I can see with the PP2 and the additional splitter why they won't work. Either way, if you are planning on lowering it at all you will need something similar.

Race Ramps. Can't remember how the length but they are quite long. 1 piece, they work well for me.

Race Ramps...custom made for my driveway (13 degree pitch), but I use them in the garage for work on the Mustang as well.

Race Ramps the long ones

I thought they where exspensive blah blah blah but I use them quite a bit changing the oil in all my vehicles. Also came in handy doing the exhaust.
