Not today, but last week. I had the evap purge valve control solenoid go out. I had a shop do the replacement last weekend. Apparently, it is a common failure point for Ecoboost Mustangs.

Judging from watching a lot of auto repair/rebuild videos it's a pretty common thing on a lot of cars.
I own 3 Fords and that part has been replaced at least once on all three. Prices on the part varies quite a bit. My Edge was $30ish, my EB Mustang was just under $50 and my wife's Fusion was the most expensive at $120. The labor to replace is super simple and quick. 20ish minutes on the worst one - the Fusion.

I swapped the chrome pony emblem for a gloss black one without removing the bumper. Removing it wasn't difficult; you just have to sacrifice the old one by breaking off the tabs. The hard part came later: I couldn't find all the retaining washers, no matter how hard I looked. But it wasn't necessary: they were useless. For some reason, the tabs on the black pony are a bit thicker than the original, so I had to buy slightly larger washers, and even then, it was a real PITA. Trying to tighten them blindly with my hand or socket is frustrating. My advice now that I know from this experience: don't buy the pony with the tabs. Use the one with the flat back and adhesive tape.

Do you think anything will happen with those washers I couldn't find? I hope they don't get caught in some critical part of the engine.

I think I finally found the source of the annoying rattle I’ve been chasing from underneath the car.

Turns out the mini cats inside the O2 spacers were loose and able to vibrate/rattle around. When I pulled them apart, they weren’t secured very well.

I put some high-temp exhaust RTV on them and stuck them back in place. Hopefully that takes care of it. I’ll update after I get some miles on it.

Good detective work! What are the spacers for? Are there aftermarket exhausts that don't have clearance to install/remove O2 sensors after the exhaust is installed? Or are they to get the sensor bodies into cooling air? Either way, not really understanding how putting them further from the flow doesn't effect their readings.

Smoked rear marker lights.
2nd thoughts: My car is a base, so it seems to me like it's set up to have a bit of a retro theme with no climate control, 70s tone soundsystem, etc.
Actual info:
1. First purchased the lower cost "Form" smoked replacements. They have two rows of LEDS
2. Not thrilled with the appearance, I followed up and bought a pair of the Diode Dynamics replacements. They have a single, fine string of LEDS.

Tips:
1. Temperature made a big difference, installing at 40' was a bit more of a hassle, on a 70' day everything was much more pliable and easy.
2. The Form lights appear brighter over-all and may be more for the folks that really want others to notice the LED, the DD more subtle by still a big departure from stock.

I have catless LTH and they are used to stop CELs.

I added a dog car seat and dog seatbelt for my new puppy to cruise around with me in the Mustang. Found this cool little blue and black puppy blanket that matches with blue and black Mustang.

Left the truck at home and drove the Mustang to work today for once. I spent yesterday afternoon trying to fix my intermittently functioning left AE valve with a new outer and center wiring harness and wanted to confirm it was fixed. Ended up having to extract a broken bolt which ate up a lot of time.

It is not, however. My driver side AE valve is very stiff compared to the other, and while I was able to free it up some with brakleen before, I may just have to buy a replacement tip from Corsa. It sure spices up the commute, but Newark roads are terrible so it'll be special occasions only.

Contact their support, they might just hook you up with another tip....
