I swapped the chrome pony emblem for a gloss black one without removing the bumper. Removing it wasn't difficult; you just have to sacrifice the old one by breaking off the tabs. The hard part came later: I couldn't find all the retaining washers, no matter how hard I looked. But it wasn't...
I installed a spare wheel on my GT. It's a 145/60/R20, only 2.9% smaller than a 275/40/R19. I don't think it will affect the Torsen differential too much. The good thing is that it's a reasonably priced alternative in Europe to save the Brembo brakes without having to choose AA, which are...

I went to the classic car show in my town and made the stupid purchase of the day. I don't know if I'll ever use it as a keychain, but it caught my eye and it wasn't very expensive. You can choose the color. Freaky me.
I have squared 19*9,5" et35 with 275/40/19 all of them. Quite flush, easy, no need to add anything , fill the stock gap perfect and with enough rubber around the wheel. With these wheels I prefer 275/40 instead of 285/35, for sure.
6 coats. About 15 minutes each. 2 first coats light, the nexts more intense.
I have used full dip. It's made in my country, cheaper than plasti dip and I think as good as It.
I have the same problem.
In my case the tinkerer added a glob of the same black material they use to glue the windshield. He told me that they have to remove it later, it is not excessively difficult. It turned out well. it is not noticeable
Plasti dipped my front pony emblem. My first time using this paint. So far so good. I think It matches with the roof, black brake calipers, badges and exterior mirrors very well.
Well. Work finished. The cutter or scalpel is a necessary tool to make it look as good as possible. You have to remove the masking tape very slowly, and as soon as you detect that the paint is coming off with the tape, cut with the scalpel before more paint goes away.
There may be a mistake...
thanks for your explanation. If I'm not mistaken, your proposal consists of cutting only the part of the plasti dip that is left over from the outermost edge of the frame, so the front part of the frame will remain with plasti dip. This approach, as you say, is not the same as others. I guess...
Well, as I was reading your opinions I have been taking notes on almost everything (I have not done the heating of the can, the work has been done in an indoor garage at a temperature of about 66F) and as I have noticed that the slightly more majority opinion is that in the last coat let it dry...
