I have owned mostly Black cars!! This new world of Ceramic Coating changes all the rules! Very little issues with keeping it clean!!! this was my car in '96 !!Haha! I love black on cars just like everyone, but I would never own one. I can't even imagine the time it takes to keep them looking clean.
I did use a leaf blower, but what remained on the car, as little as it was, I did not get off quick enough.I know you said you got distracted bythis time...but do you use the leaf blower method? I got enough electric leaf blower from a family member, and I cut down the tube with a hack saw. It works great. It also blows all the water out of the mirror and decklid. It hits all the areas that you find water spots after a short drive.
OMG guys!! Ceramic Coating S the future! You will never regret it!!! :cheers:I had that same problem a few months back with my black S550. Washed the car, someone started a conversation, I didn't dry it fast enough, and water spots everywhere. I ended up rewashing the car and it seemed to solve the problem. I always dry with a leaf blower, then waffle weave, then finally go over it with detail spray and a microfiber. It's a pain to keep black cars clean, I recently bought a leaf blower and electric pressure washer which really cuts down on wash and dry time.
I will never own another black car, but when I do I will get ceramic pro again!:lol:OMG guys!! Ceramic Coating S the future! You will never regret it!!!
Sorry....but that sounds like a whole lot of time/work/money....just get it Ceramic Coated!!!!!!!:cheers:Totally fine using 50/50 white distilled vinegar and water. Acidic levels are not concentrated enough to cause any damage. You WILL need to re wash the car or atleast neutralize the leftover residue by rinsing the car off. Also plan on re waxing as it strips that as well.
That's like me when I said..."I'll ner, never marry you.....unless you ask me to!! And she did!! lmao!!I will never own another black car, but when I do I will get ceramic pro again!
^THIS^ Changed my life. 15 min to make my black GT350 look amazing, 20 min for my black Escalade. Both are driven near daily.Cr spotless deionizer
