What's your duty cycle at wot? How much room remaining?
No idea. I’m sure they are up there in duty. All fueling indicators are perfect, so I’m not concerned really. I’ve seen them (1050X’s) keep up with 950whp on a Whipple/Twin Ti274 setup. Guessing nearing/at 100% DC no doubt. Injector Dynamics calculator puts DC between 84-87%.

Ok so I think I might have messed up. I went to pick the car up Friday and had to stop for gas but the only thing close was 91. Ever since that the car has been spitting sputtering and blowing smoke when you try to get on it any. I put an octane booster in it no help. What did I mess up ? 😩

Oh no... have you been able to figure anything out? I don't think 91 would make a big enough difference to break things, the engine should be able to pull enough timing to make up for a 2 octane difference.

That depends on tune, but also depends if you went on it hard. A 93 tune can have a tough time on 91, but i dont think it would break anything?

try using the tank and putting in 93 again, see if it fixes it

Good luck man, hope the seller wasn't dishonest with you. Either way once you get it fixed up, the car is going to rip and you're going to have a blast.

Unless you were tuned quite aggressively on 93 I wouldn’t expect a tank of 91 to cause much harm. Unless of course you did back to back longer pulls that generated a ton of heat. Hopefully you didn’t get sold a hurt car from the start and you can get it sorted out easily.

91 + booster should be fine on 93 tune but that much oil in the intake tells me you have a bigger issue the seller was trying to hide....

So finally got the car to a shop and he said it was running really lean and there's 0 compression in the number 6 cylinder. all the others were fine no noise in the engine doesn't make sense.
