I took a test drive in my buddys VMP powered GT yesterday,he said the install was a breeze and the support once on the local dynojet was awesome, his base model made
633HP . I took a drive in it and it ran great and was very quiet under the hood and
I am considering one. If I am not mistaken it uses its own cooling reservoir and you not
need to tap into the cars cooling system and thats why it had its own bubble tank.?
Nice kit,but what do we need to get to 700+ HP on 93?

lots of good options with all the brands out there. we can customize the roush kits for you for more power, and have phenomenal custom pacakages on the procharger you mentioned or the paxton kits

big injectors, custom tuning, etc...

robmustang201528, to answer your original question...

The VMP TVS supercharger kit for the 5.0l Mustang is similar to Roush, in that we both use TVS rotorpack technology from Eaton. We pick up where Roush leaves off HP-wise. Our kits are designed to support more power, with larger fuel injectors, larger inlet, optional bigger throttle body, and a dual-fan, tripple-pass, heat exchanger, that keeps everything cool. All of this combined with the excellent torque of the TVS designs allows us to pack a very nasty punch...from a mild 600rwhp to 900rwhp+, yes we have our VMP TVS on Mustangs that run 8s in the 1/4 mile.

A few teasers from our stage 2/3 kits:

Justin, I like the heat exchanger and dual fans. I have a Kenne Bell 3.2 on my car now. Do you guys sell just the HE and fans? If so i'd definitely be interested in them, it gets pretty hot down here in Florida.

I wonder how much extra hp I would pick up swapping the roush head unit to the vmp? Anyone have any real data? I'm debating if it's worth the 1500

Right now we're running pretty impressive times on our 14 with the VMP and a 150 shot of Nitrous. We currently have the TVS record but we're waiting for Kelly at BMR and Rebecca at VMP to blow it out of the water.

Rob - In the end, you honestly can't go wrong with either Whipple or VMP. We've done countless installs of both systems on the S550 and each time, we're stoked at the quality of each kit.

Its pretty damn amazing the small little things they do with each kit to give its end result = Factory OEM quality.

We're running 8's with the VMP (driving 2 hours to the track and back), and its still a street car with a built 6R80 and stall.

Let us know if we can help, Rob, we're getting our new Dyno in next week (finally), we'll do some baseline pulls before install and after:)

I'd suggest letting Ken over at Palm Beach Dyno do the tuning for you. What he's done for both our cars (JT-B Vortech and VMP) has been nothing short of impressive. Plus with him remote dynoing we can knock everything out in house!
