Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

No vibration problems with your new car at all? How many miles do you have on it?
So far I'm not feeling any at any speeds on smooth roads. 3200 miles on mine.

I trust the techs at Steeda a lot more than the Stealership service clowns.
Me too, although they did cross-thread one of my IRS bolts last time I was there.

Check your state's LL details carefully. In GA, the have to replace it with a comparable car and they can only charge you for miles up to the time the defect was first reported- for me that was about 800 miles. In my case, they would have to replace it with a 16 or maybe 17 depending on when the whole thing gets sorted out. My thinking is that if I get another car with the same problem or it develops in the first few thousand miles, I'll just trade it on something else and be done with it. But the newer car will be worth more than what I will get on a repurchase of my '15.
In FL I can choose replacement or buy-back. Tired of messing with all of this, just want my $$ back. Not willing to take a chance on another one. The 'usage/mileage' charge will only be a few hundred which I'll gladly pay to have this nightmare over with.

Ok finally dropped my new 16' GT off to get checked out and my local dealer acknowledged a problem. I'm hoping but not expecting for a quick fix, although I was told they want the car for at least a week.

7 weeks at the dealership and still no closer. They replaced the driveshaft, pinion flange, and the ring and pinion. The car has been sitting outside for a week and a half waiting for a field engineer to email a time when he will be there, BS. I asked if the tech checked parts for runout and they replied, we put a new part on. I guess that means no. I have not been offered a rental, borrowing a truck from work. I think I may have to get a lawyer involved in this. Bought the car used so I'm screwed on the lemon law.

Does your State not have a Lemon Law for used cars? Florida does.

Not that I have seen. Illinois sucks
I just looked and saw that used vehicles in Illinois are not covered under the Lemon Law. Wtf? That's a fucked up state!

My 16 EB, manual just started to vibrate at 4500 miles. Spent 3 hrs. on the NY thruway with my feet tingling from the vibration at 70-75 mph. This is unacceptable to me, so I brought it to the dealership and of course they denied that Ford knows there's a problem. the service mgr. was helpful but this was clearly not in his expertise. I was told they hit 60 mph on the test drive but felt nothing unusual. A tech there said that vibrations can become less the older the car gets. THis is all B.S. so should I call Ford corp. direct. Thanks

My thought is to give them till next Friday, when I'm on vacation, then I will decide how to handle this. There is just no urgency from anyone.

I decided it was time to bail on the whole deal & filed for Lemon Law today. Going to go for a buy-back, don't want to take a chance on another one at this point.
Damn, that truly sucks. Good luck Mike.

I'm wondering when it will be time for a Class Action Lawsuit against Ford for not only this very pressing issue, but the overall lack of Quality Control at the line and final build quality that has plagued the S550 since inception.

A new car was purchased that should be free of such Quality Control issues as well as a vibration issue where Ford won't own up to the issue (even though it IS documented in "A Faster Horse" and was reported in 2015 by Consumer Reports as being a genuine issue).

I also recently sent an email out to Wiliam Ford and (2) other Executives at Ford (courtesy of the supplied email addresses from another member); to date, absolutely no responses. That's ok, it's all documented - in fact, I've documented every single aspect of my vehicles vibe issues from Day 1, including but not limited to all transactions between Ford CSR's.

Anyone who has not reached out to a Ford CSR, you should do so to get your Case Number established and document everything going forward.

The link to this thread has been distributed on many other forums as well to get the word out about the issue (to respond to other S550 owners who HAVE the issue, but are not aware of this thread). I suggest others do the same.

It's absurd at this point there is still nothing for Ford Techs or Service Managers to reference in any of Fords internal systems to not only address the issue with a proper diagnosis, but to see what other Service Centers have done to remedy the issue..

Does Ford enjoy buying back Lemons? Besides, what happens to a Lemon'd vehicle, does it get crushed or just auctioned off to another Dealer to be someone else's problem?

CSR's have done little for me. They called again today and (just as they did last week) asked if I had heard from the dealer when the FSE was coming to look @ my car again. WTF  aren't THEY supposed to be telling me that ??

If they are sending the same FSE as last time (and from what I've learned, it's the same ones assigned to a set of dealers/area) what's the point. The guy admitted he had no clue what was wrong with the car, pointed to the Steeda stuff & that was his excuse to bail having done nothing. This time nothing external to lay off the blame on, but unless he took some smart pills and went to 'vibration school' since the last visit he will be just as clueless & useless this time around.

When they buy back these cars they have a permanently "branded title" and even if repaired, have to be sold as a 'lemon law' car which includes a full disclosure as to what was wrong & repaired. Naturally, these cars are sold at a deep discount. Some end up @ the crusher.

When I had an issue with my Infiniti, it was a totally different experience. The CSR's contacted the FSE's and the guy assigned to my dealer called me and had a list of days & times he would be there so we could meet in person. He drove the car, had me drive the car - acknowledged the issue, left a laundry list of parts for the dealer to order & install, inspected the car the next week when it was done & drove it with me to ensure I was satisfied. There has never been another issue with that car.
