I most definitely received a loaner. All I had to was tell them I didn't want to sit around all day and I lived out of town, which isn't a lie, but they ended up keeping my car for a week so that may also have something to do with it. Ask and you shall receive....I hope! Are you guys getting loaners? I just asked Ford service about this in my email to update them. Appt. is not until the 27th. In the meantime I only drive the car to work cause I have to. I need to go see my folks down in FL soon and I have no car to do so with, even though I am making payments on a new car! Will be used car again next time. I learned my lesson.
I would say this pretty much sums up my experience as well. There is a lot of 'talk' about customer service (from Ford & at the dealerships) and they press you for a good rating on the survey, but there is very little actual energy expended to satisfying the customer. They have zero consideration for your time or the vehicle - it's all about what's most expedient for them & not you. The local dealer here is a perfect example. I went in to get my 1st oil change only to be informed I needed to make a service appointment & they were booked out 4 or 5 days  5 days to get an oil change  it's not like I was asking to have the motor rebuilt or something! I drove 2 blocks away to the Mobil 1 place and was done & back home in an hour.As I've said before, if you are used to premium brand service, you will be sadly disappointed by virtually any Ford dealer. They just have no consideration for your time. I just dropped my car off for the 10th time. This time they are putting the new trans flange on to fix the clank when it goes into gear. I asked if it will be done today and she said probably not since I didn't have it there when they opened. I said that I could have dropped it off last night if she had told me that. They just don't care. It's ridiculous. I have a Camry rental car. It's nice and smooth at 60mph. How Ford gets away with this sh!t I just don't know but I think I'm probably done with them. Back to the imports.
good luck. you'll get offered an extended warranty which is useless since the included one doesn't get any problems fixed. My case has officially been escalated. FoMoCo emailed me this morning and we have been talking off and on most of the day. I'll keep everyone posted on the case status.
Of course immediately after receiving my first email from them the dealership decided to finally get back with me.

I hope I am wrong, my car is in for 7 days now for the same issue.
If it doesn't bother you, I wouldn't bother with trying to convince them to fix it honestly. Although if you go in with the SSM # listed previously you might get some free parts from it haha. The driveshaft seems to be the first thing they replace so if your like me and live in the rust belt you might be able to get a clean shaft at least.so i've been following this thread since i've owned mine to see everyone's experiences. i too have a very slight vibration ranging at speeds 55-70. it's a drone/hum but doesn't vibrate any of my mirrors or shake me to death. i haven't taken it in because ive read some people's get worse. should i live with it or end up going through this nightmare?
yeah see i think with mine situation it would be hard to convince them. i know it's there. I hear it. It's a drone/hum and only starts at 55 and goes away after 70mph but my my mirrors are fine and car doesn't shake. If it doesn't bother you, I wouldn't bother with trying to convince them to fix it honestly. My vibration allows me to see almost nothing out of my mirror as soon as I feel it starting to resonate, but they consider that normal until you bitch loud enough and throw the facts at them.
Easiest way for you to convince them is to put it on a lift yourself before hand and run it up to whenever you hear the noise is the loudest. if its loud enough to make you cringe then itll be easy to convince them to at least check it out. My noise level was increased an a$$load when I put my car on a lift that's when I said enough is enough im taking it in tonight hahai know it's there. I hear it.
