About to do add links myself and I am racking my brain on which style to get. I worry about Delrin and squeaking but also worried about longivity of speherical with only a 2yr warranty. Also are the BMR 45's worth the extra $50 vs the 46's to get the double sperical? What is the advantage of having 1 of each on the 46? What is the best of both worlds?
Personally, my opinion is that poly makes more sense. I would wait on Kelly's review on the SuperPro.

Steeda vertical links for over 1.5 years, no NVH, love them!

LOL, just noticed I already replied to this message. I love them twice as much I guess.

Just installed my BMR TCA045 spherical/spherical links last week and went on a 500 mile road trip immediately after getting my tires on. NO NVH at all, literally none. I wouldnt explain the feeling as "the rear end is tighter" but rather more like "the suspension is doing what it is supposed to" rather than feeling like mush. Love these links!

** I think the spherical/spherical set up is to increase rigidity but I am really not sure... BMR Tech will be able to assist with those questions

I have the steeda verticals, if you don't lube them like a 2 dollar whore they will start squeaking like crazy. Mine had a very sharp lip that cut into the upper mount and had to be cleaned up. But after a year of running them they are in great condition and along with a lot of other parts made my car muuuuch nicer to go around corners with!

I just had my wheels off this weekend and looked at the vertical links. I didn't do anything special when installing them, just followed the instructions and with over 20k miles on them, they still look great and I've never gone back to re-lube them.

I really didn't even lube mine that much... just whatever Steeda included in the box (and half of it got all over my fingers). Haven't heard a peep from them so far. They are kind of hard to install - at least the first one you do is until you figure out a method that works for you - because of the really tight tolerance, but that's what beer is for. :headbonk:

It's weird how when I search I read that some get the squeak and some don't. I looked at the Boomba and liked the idea of poly but only 80 durometer, I think I want more. Leaning BMR real hard to the TCA046 but can't determine if there is advantage to having Delrin in one or is it better to have both spherical.
Rebellion: What is this superpro you mention?

I would call BMR and ask for Kelly and ask him about the spherical bearings. BMR is a smart crew

Superpro is a brand of Aussie suspension parts, I believe they are partners with BMR. Last thing I knew, Kelly was testing their parts with his car before offering them through BMR.

I just installed the BMR spherical links. It took about 35 minutes to do BOTH. The easiest suspension related install on this car yet and I've done quite a bit. It helped wheel hop a lot. It's gone now except for during lower temps. The P zeros are my limiting factor now. There hasn't been any increase in NVH. My car was already pretty solid feeling and I haven't noticed a difference there. It is a good mod with noticeable results and it's so easy it's a no brainer.

The TCA045 Spherical Links really are a nice piece - my absolute favorite of any offering on the market. Feedback on them is 99.9999999% excellent. They're not hit or miss with NVH, no hassle install as they practically fall into place, require no maintenance, and are just an incredible work of art.

Price point is a homerun. They feature US Made FK Bearings with very high quality stainless and billet hardware, and even come with new upgraded 10.9 hardware. This is a much better value than spending the same dollar amount on any of the Delrin links on the market.

As for the poly bushed links - I am not 100% sold yet. I see people mention the Boomba links, but have no experience with those. What I can say is that for a Poly bushed link, the Super Pro I have on one of my cars seems to be doing well. It has a free floating inner sleeve...which is a must with a poly bushing on a pivot point. The others out there with poly, I am not sure if those are "bonded" inner bushing sleeves or not - but I wouldn't put a bonded bushing on my car, personally.

I have about 2500 very hard miles on my Super Pro Links....a track day, and two visits to drag strips launching VERY aggressively (1.5 sixty foot times with just a KN filter and tune for power mods)

Hope that helps!

Just get the spherical BMRs and be done with it. They'll last and theres no increase in NVH and it will take you longer to get it up on jackstands that it will to install them.

I am sold on BMR for the links and think I am now sold on the 45's vs 46's. The superpro poly through BMR sounded intriguing but the thought of bind has me thinking spherical. Now I just need to wait for one of these tax day sales that might happen and sneak these past the wife. Thanks for all the thoughts and opinions.

BMR Tech I can confirm that the Boomba are bonded...I know it could be a potential point of failure, but so far it hasn't (4k miles).
