V6 versus I4 versus GT

Ok guys, sorry if this has been asked ( i searched and found nothing) but there has just been to much activity and info the last few days to keep up.

What are the differences between the V6, I4 and GT?

I'm talking about visual differences mostly but we can talk some of the other stuff too (standard features, price, weight, etc).
I'm diggin the new look but having hard time figuring out which models were shown other than the obvious fangs in the GT.

I will assume, based on what I have read and know so far, the V6 and I4 engined cars will come wrapped in the base model sheet metal. I have not heard that there will be any visual differences to the car, as the I4 is simple an option box you check. Obviously, the GT has some visual differences as already seen on the releases.

V6 and the GT are set apart by the fangs and the hood extractors. Maybe the spoiler too. The 2.3T is identical to the V6 externally but gets two gauges where the middle A/C vent is on the inside. You could probably tell by looking at the brakes too.

But that's all I've noticed.

For starters compare the grill.

The GT is the only one that gets the fangs as you said, and also has the hood extractors that the V6/I4 do not. The honeycomb shape is also different for both.

To be honest im not really sure if there are any exterior differences between the 6 and 4.

GT also has the spoiler.

The turn signals above the fog lamps are different colors.

The GT has the GT badge on the rear instead of the Pony.

the brakes are different sizes as well but depends on what package you get.

Which wheels will go with the Performance Pack on the 5.0?

Are they the black 19 inchers or the gray 20 inch ones? I can't figure it out.

19s with 255 front and 275 rear for pp.
20's with 265's are the non PP option as far as I can tell.

First time poster so forgive me if this has been discussed or is in the wrong location but, does anyone know of any special badging or design cues that will give away the EcoBoost equipped cars versus the V6. We know the V8 GT gets the GT badges, but I have yet to see anything that lets you know the 2.3 hides under the hood.

Curious as I have a real desire to get the 2.3L EcoBoost engine when I decide to purchase.

So the EB4 ended up getting no special badging. I knew it wouldnt be any SVO remake but I thought for sure they would give it something to distinguish from the V6.

Yeah, I thought so too. But hey, it makes for a nice sleeper car. Tune that turbo and throw some mods in and surprise a lot of cars at the stoplight.

Thanks. Seems odd that the 19's go with the PP while the 20's are standard. Weird.

I'm more surprised (disappointed) that the GT and other trims look so similar. On some of the earlier press shots the fangs were barely visible and you had to look very closely to tell. This is great for V6/I4 buyers who are a grille mod away from a GT but I wouldn't be happy as a V8 buyer.

I couldn't care less what someone else's Mustang looks like. I'm buying this car for what I like it to look like. If someone wants to make their V6 or I4 car look like a GT, then go for it. That's what customizing is all about.

:amen: Except for making Cobra clones...nothing worse than a v6 with a GT500 body.

I'm really hoping they do something special for the EB, not really interested in a sleeper, that's what debadging is for. I think they need to carry over the ST badging, grille, and most importantly, that trapezoidal center exhaust! Maybe give it a special spoiler too.
