No ... does it matter?

bullittman - common alignment issue seen, no surprise. Not much adjustment in the hinges. I've tried it myself on mine and it came out a little better.
Thanks man, yeah, the pics are a little harsh but it is there. On my car, panels actually fit better than most cars I've seen over the last year.
Again I'm good with it......This is an AMAZING machine.

No ... does it matter?

bullittman - common alignment issue seen, no surprise. Not much adjustment in the hinges, plus hard to keep the whole elevation along the gap even between the trunk lid and fender. Correct it in one place, mess it up in another type of deal. I've tried it myself on mine and it came out a little better. Can't hurt to try and see how it come out.
GT Pony, it does a little, if your not buying a GT350,
why are you over here bashing them or concerned about those of us
who are. Even more so as has been said already, of those received
on this forum (7-10) no major issues as of yet.

I am sure some will have issues, you don't built 5000 of anything, without a few
getting to people with problems, when you add in
Production, shipping maybe train, truck etc, then PDI, and God knows what else.

I love how some folks are ripping on the OP because he is complaining about quality on a car he doesn't possess yet. I fail to see how that makes the issue any less valid -- it is still a $50k car on display at a dealership that has issues that are unacceptable at any price point on a brand new car from one of the worlds largest automakers. Henry Ford invented the moving assembly line -- they have had 112 years to put processes in place that allows them to put their shit together right.

I grew up on Fords, I am a Ford guy. And I will be honest -- the new Ford's don't impress me. I have seen similar issues on a number of new Fords that I haven't seen seen on Fords of the last decade or so, and I haven't seen from other manufacturers. I looked at probably 10 different 15's at the dealerships -- and not ONE of them had a hood that lined up right. They were all low in the front middle and high on the front sides. Since I have had the internet, I have never heard this muh chatter about QC on a Mustang release. In defense of all the guys whining that people are ripping on the GT350, you are right its not a GT350 issue. Nope, it is a Ford issue, and we shouldn't see it at all. There is a QC issue at Ford right now. Period.

I bust my ass for the money I make, and there is no way I would order any car if there was a possibility it would have these issues. My money is important to me. I guess it is just amazing to me that there are so many folks out there that will drop $ on a new car and make excuses for Ford on this.

The GT350 is an S550 Mustang ... so, no it doesn't matter. So someone has to be in the "GT350 Club" to talk about it? Is there a rule that you can only discuss the GT350 if you have one on order, or already own one? Funny ... :) But yeah, I may trade my GT for one in a year or two.

It seems some of these guys getting the GT350 somehow think it's going to be flawless, but I'm just saying it's going to be built with the same quality as all the other Mustang models. Anyone not realizing that is fooling themselves. People shouldn't take it the wrong way.

But of course everyone wants their Mustang to be good coming off the assembly line, but some will have issues (as already seen). Hopefully, most will be "flawless" in the eyes of their owners. Good luck to all on that.

I noticed the 2015s and 16s at lots (GTs) with these issues as well...but not every one. It still makes me nervous that mine will have something that bugs me. It's basically the same as saying 1 out of X cars will come with a door ding, but look what a great deal it is for the performance you get. Who likes that concept? I hope, no one.

It's somewhat amusing (in a strange way) that the GT350 crowd is repeating the woes that many had with lesser S550 cars.

Not saying that it's good, mind you, but I don't see where anyone would expect better fit and finish than Joe Blow's V6 car. Not gonna happen, my '07 GT500 experience taught me otherwise. Terrible fit, squeaks and rattles, and paint that had zero depth and pop no matter what I did. My '09 Bullitt was almost perfect by comparison, and sticker price was over $10K different. Hit and miss, anyone?

Ford needs to step it up, no doubt. My '15 has some cosmetic things that just make me shake my head....

Simple fix... Spend your money elsewhere... Post elsewhere.

Problem solved.

I currently have a 5 fords in my yard, 7 if you count my sons and step sons Mustangs. from 2000 to 2015, all are good no major issues.
1-2015 F250 and 1-2015 ford focus, both fit and Finnish excellent.
Do bad ones get out, of course.

As for Fords line up, it is exciting, they are at the top or leading in many sectors of the car market. I agree with Reaper. If you don't like what Ford is doing, then really go to the other side

Seriously? Ignorant much?

I own 3 mustangs right now. I am a Ford guy -- not a Chevy, Dodge, Honda, BMW, Toyota, or any other type of guy. Where I "shop" or where I post has ZERO bearing on the fact that it is 2015 and Ford Motor Company has a QC issue, and the simple truth is that will not change if guys who have more money than brains continue to use shitty outdated arguments to defend an issue that doesn't exist at this extent with any other major manufacturer, and shouldn't exist at all. It doesn't matter if it is a base V6, or a GT350R, shit should not leave the factory like this.

If you built the car that the OP posted, would you actually be proud of that work?

Maybe it is you that should post somewhere else if you can't handle coming on to an internet forum and having to hear the truth, no?

The "Eh, good enough" mentality has no place in any kind of quality control. It's 2015, there shouldn't be such rampant QC issues from any major car manufacturer. The "XX company has issues, so it's ok for us to have issues too" mentality makes everyone a loser.

I was driving around today after reading some of the posts on this thread. Passed a Kia. They do NOT have better panel alignment than Fords. Not even close.

I saw a Honda Civic review on Motorweek today. The gaps on the hood are horrible. Also way worse than my Ford.

Just sayin'.

Did all of these Goofie Balled responses by members even look at the said issues about the vehichle in question ?

Dang I really would like a more imforming response from the so called following here on this open Forum ..

Now have you any self respecting individual would be insulted if by happenstance thay had the ability to walk into a Foed Dealership and be able to afford to purchase a GT 350 expecting to see a quality built vehichle and not some slopped together POS sitting upon the showroom floor ..

How insulting can a dealer get ?

The vehichle I chose to trade this year had 32.000.00 miles upon IT and only 4 years old IT was worth $10.000.00 trade and that is what I recieved in trade in value from the Ford Dealer or I would walk on the deal ...Period ...

Now chevy could not get the TPMS monitors to stay paired with the system and had asked if I would like to trade IT in ..MY response was yes and for a 2015 Mustang ..So I did ..and I went over this Mustang with a fine toothe comb ..Due Dilligence either you follow through or you will get burned over and over .............
