^^^ LoL ... there goes the "gotta be in the GT350 club" ego post. I already said I may trade my GT for one in a year or two ... maybe by then the assembley line quality will be more refined. ;)

Smh... Very immature man. You avoided my question, obviously cause you are on the outside throwing stones. That's cool.

I'll take my flaws in my R and I will pet them everyday and love hem and care for them and enjoy them, despite the haters on Ford quality. Btw, I won't be surprised.

Take care man... I don't readily go over to the non-GT350 forums and post cause I don't have one of those cars , so I can't real-world relate.

Guess the "elitist" owners should get a secret password to this forum, and only let verified owners get the password.

Some people seem to be very sensitive about this car. All these so called "bashers" are saying is that it's just another S550 being slapped together on the assembly line and it probably isn't treated any differently than a base V6 being assembled. So just don't be surprised if it does show up with a few quality issues. If anything, I would think someone buying a GT350 for large coin would be even more upset if it showed up with noticeable flaws, which was the flavor of the OPs post starting this thread.
I work in a Ford plant and that is pretty much what happens. A Lincoln Black Label MKC gets built more or less the same way as an Escape S. Main diff being that the Lincolns have their own QC line.

It IS just another S550, except for the awesome drivetrain and underpinnings, and a few other things. Panel fitment should be similar, and I'm good with that. I'm more annoyed with the people who expect the panels to fit perfectly because it costs ~$10k more than a "regular" Mustang. Basically they are saying all the awesome extras aren't worth the money unless the panels also fit perfectly. I disagree and think the FPC alone is worth the price of admission. So for those thinking regular Mustang panel fitment isn't good enough...

Makes sense. Thanks for posting your insider info.

That's all I've been saying ... don't expect any more build quality because of the price. Some can't read very well, or are way too sensitive about it all.

It's a car built on a major assembly line next to V6 Mustangs and Fusions. It's not going to be perfect. You're buying a $50K Mustang, not a $300K Ferrari.

I was at the LA Auto Show yesterday checking out the GT350 and started looking at the panels... I noticed the rear bumper looked awful! Seriously, I can deal with some imperfections, but this appeared as if the bumper had been completely removed and then put back on incorrectly. Some of the panel had no gap, then it opened up wide. I would be furious if I bought ANY brand new car with panels that messed up, let alone this one.

It's been an issue for 2015s and we're just now getting a look at the production GT350s, so stay tuned. What you saw at the show was almost definitely pre production so don't make any decisions based on that one.

It looks like most of the delivered cars are pretty good or great from a QC standpoint! Hopefully we are in the clear!

My car was missing the drivers 'mudflap' on the rear wheelwell.

They got me the part, but pretty shameless no one noticed besides me.
