Was there an R there?
No. They had some other one in the same room that was custom that I never heard of. Something with a B.

They did have the new Ford GT though:ford:

I'll tell you what I'm upset about... the car is not nearly as loud as it was made out to be in the videos posted online.

That's where we come in with our off road pipes ;)

Stay tuned

What was the dealer markup on that?
I was over hearing some guy asking the presenter woman about it and she mentioned that Ford hasn't released any pricing but she heard it is supposed to be around $400,000. So if you can find one, double that?

I've been in and around the cars, and driven the R twice on track and find it plenty loud. If you can increase performance (lower weight and add power), I'm interested in your product. 'Louder' wouldn't be what I'd optimize for.

Some of the videos online are of the R, which do not have resonators. Could that be where the discrepancy lies? Can't wait to hear the off road pipes

I agree, I have seen and driven the R, it is plenty loud.
Every Mustang I ever owned, I swapped out the exhaust.
This one, not even thinking about it.
Other performance parts, maybe 1 piece driveshaft.
hood struts, few other bits, but not changing much.

There of course will be an increase in power, you're getting rid of a restriction in the exhaust. :headbang:

Every off road pipe that we've released has seen gains of at least 15 rwhp before even adding a custom tune to take full advantage of the new mod. We'll be getting these mocked up very soon.

Anyone working on long-tube headers yet?

Also, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the vibration dampers attached to the stock exhaust. Will you be doing something similar?

Kooks already displayed some at sema.
I'm going to install long tube heads and a full off road exhaust. If I must I'll make my own headers and x-pipe. But I will not install vibration dampers. Many have said I'm wrong to remove the dampers but I will remove them.

Is a 1 piece driveshaft possible? If so, why didn't they use that instead?

I'm 100% happy with the quality of the build, stripes and all. No flaw detected by me or others who have helped me check her over.

To the guys who are worried sick about how the car might arrive, I've learned this over the years (I'm older than dirt):

"My life is full of terrible misfortunes... most of which never occurred."

Don't worry, be happy. Expect the best and if there is an issue it can likely be fixed. This car is fantastic. Could not be happier.

The stripes are perfect:

next mod fad - exhaust systems that make the car a little quieter when you hit the switch, lol.

Based on what I have read it is. But cost prohibitive like the
ceramic brakes. Could have Ford done it, I think so, but at what cost.
Give the after market guys some time, also let others be the testers.
Then I will decide :) I know after market companies are racing to be first.
But in the case of mods for these cars, first may not be best or best prices.

It would bug me if I just spent $50k for a car that had blemishes. $20K or $50K, its a new car and that kind of poor quality would not fly. Granted the panel gaps look fixable, but the strips and trash in paint would bug and I would expect it fixed or another.
