I watched your video, very good by the way, I have a question. What happens to the line that goes from the back of the valve cover to the intake tube in front of the turbo? I thought the dual valve can replaced that line.

I have the UPR can that has just two lines and goes in between the PCV and the intake manifold. Other than my can becoming pressurized under boost I don't see the advantage of the dual valve can.
Nothing happens to that line unless you get a clean side CC (and that is anything but a clean side....)

The dual valve has the additional line running to the intake to allow for vacuum to draw on the crankcase when there is enough positive pressure to close off the intake check valve. Honestly I have tested the pressure coming out of the crankcase and it is greater than any vacuum that is drawn pre-turbo that close to the filter. So a good check valve is the best bet on your setup.

I did a little more reading on the dual valve can and figured out that it trying to maintain a draw on the crankcase under boost.

I have a standard UPR catch can that has just two connections on it, there is a line from the PCV to the can and one from the intake manifold to the can. There is no check valve, it relies on the PCV as the check valve.

On all my other turbo cars I have disconnected the line from the valve cover to the intake tube and either put another can on it or put a breather filter on it and left it off the intake. There is a sensor in the line on the Ecoboost and it throws a CEL it you put anything in line (catch can) or leave it disconnected. RX has a breather with a trap that replaces the oil filler cap and the clean side line attached to. I am thinking this may allow me to have something on the clean side without tripping a CEL.

So I take it the UPR unit is also better than the Boomba Stage 2 catch can as I do not see any check valves on that unit either ? But yet again that one only has two outlets on it also. I have a Boomba that I have yet to install. I dont plan on upgrading the turbo anytime soon so will this one suffice or sell it and get a UPR ?
Thanks

I just replaced both the valves on my UPR DV with Boomba units. Boomba are local to me and stopped by there on Monday and picked them up. really surprised at how little there is holding the UPR valves on. Literally just pulled them apart with my hands. I feel much better with them clamped.

Any idea what size clamps those are?

I don't know what sizes they are.. I had them laying around. I'll be replacing them with some single ear crimp clamp like these this week.

Anyone having trouble getting their DVCC to fill with oil? I went 4k miles and barely got enough oil in the can to fill the bottom of it. I did not gut my pcv so that could be the reason why.

Haven't had any issues, just curious
