Check the coolant level. If its low and keeps going lower its a blown head gasket. hearing that Focus RS cars are doing the same. After a while they will develop a miss at cold start, clear up and blow loads of steam like this..

Hello all. I sold my Mustang so I have some stuff to sell soon. First dibs for locals... I have a winter Wheel setup And some UMI Vertical Links which will work on any S550. The winter wheels are 18's and won't fit over GT PP brakes. I Also have a bunch of EcoBoost Mustang stuff as well...
Track mode still has stability control on so if you start to get sideways it will slow the wheels and stop you from going sideways. Instead hold the button down until it says advance track off. That shuts the traction control and all stability control off.
It's 100% VTA. There is no provision for recirculating and is not in the stock location either. Interestingly this setup is a ton quieter than it was VTA on the stock pipe or the mishimoto pipe I was using.
You would have to completely rework the car to first run a water to air intercooler setup then install the killerchiller on top of it. Water to air will be much more complex and heavy than the air to air setup we have now.
There is nothing getting sprayed into the turbo or intercooler. Water/meth gets sprayed in post intercooler usually in the cold side charge pipe. the tune+ kit used a spacer behind the throttle body. The water/meth mixture gets used during combustion along with the gasoline from the cars DI...
the issue with mine was a failed spring clamp on the vac/boost line from the WGA to the solenoid. The spring clamp had a chunk stamped out of it. probably a mfg defect. the clamp held fine when cold but ended up leaking after It was hot and in high boost. I actually replaced the hard line with...
Glad to hear ATM is back! I have the ATM hot side charge pipe and love it. Really wanted the hot and cold side when they were released but didn't have the money at the time. Ended up finding one used. Really love the ability to run a stock or stock replacement valve or any aftermarket BOV's.
Active noise control is separate from the fake engine sound. So disabling the fake sound with forscan will only stop the fake sound and not disconnect the active noise cancellation. Pulling the rear mic keeps the active noise cancellation from Fighting the exhaust and aftermarket sub sounds from...
Flutter at low boost is normal for the stock turbo on this car and many others with small turbos. It happens because the turbo being super quick spooling and small ends up Taking away vacuum at low throttle inputs. So there is not enough vacuum to overcome the spring pressure and solidly close...
Livernois did 11.7 on a stock car (removed exhaust, slicks, minor weight reduction) tuned to the limit on MS109 fuel. So that octane is a huge benefit.
Not sure on the o ring size but I recommend you call turbosmart and have them send the updated boost reference line solution. That block skewes the charge air temp readings of the sensor.
This is the updated boost port reference adapter...
Biggest thing is the 2.3 block is an open deck design which can be braced to handle high boost and hp. You can do without it but I bet the bores would move enough to cause gasket problems at high boost. Pictures here of a stock and braced block...
I've not really looked into the logs to look at IAT's that close but I've not noticed any changes in daily driving.
My hot side pipe is an ATM unit with their adapter to use the stock or stock replacement valves. I heard on a Fiat Board that ATM is under new ownership and are beginning to...
I use factory style single ear clamps on anything that wont need to be removed often. Really easy to use and clamp. just need the clamps and the install pliers for them.
Finally got the chance to get these done. Had a couple other Paying photo gigs to finish up first.
Yes I know the O ring is pushed out of place in this pic. I fixed it after I took the picture.
