Dude loses all credibility when he claims prochargers aren’t proven and inferior lol
No way dude. Everyone knows ESS blowers make 1000 hp on 2 lbs of boost. They lost all credibility when the mob of them tried to defend ridiculous, theoretically impossible horsepower/boost pressure numbers. Some of it was down right comical. I think a little competition price wise is healthy for everyone, but I've never seen any credible evidence that ESS's blowers are somehow superior to Procharger.

I always calmly ask for some sort of efficiency curve chart. I’ve yet to see one. I’m not claiming my stuff is better, I assume said claim must come with some sort of credible backing that isn’t hearsay or a dragy

Shit, a chick at a shop near me went 170-some with a P1X

has the whole setup on marketplace for sale still I think
Not unless she was making 1200 Wheel, or managed to shave 900 lbs off the car.

Right! 😅

when was ESS’ launch with their branded superchargers? I recall them using Vortech’s.

7.83 at 175, Samantha Moore, limited street record holder.
The question still exists, everyone here says no way a P1x, makes over a 1000 wheel, but that 3800 lb car has to be somewhere around 1200-1300 to achieve those times.

So either a P1X can make well over 1000 (without over-spinning it), or her car didn't weigh what they stated. 3,875lb

I’m still confused with their CFM numbers

Not sure why everyone is caught up on "over spinning it". Do what it takes to go fast, period. Limited street is 3650lbs for coyote and p1x. She holds the record, so believe they weighed it, tested fuel and likely tore the engine down.

According to this thread 👇 post #7, the class is limited to a pulley that does not over-spin the blower. So, does a P1x, without exceeding the recommended Max Impeller RPM of 65,000, make well over 1,000 Wheel Horsepower? cuz a 3,875 lb car ain't touching a 7.83 @ 175 with 1,000 wheel. The math just doesn't add up. Either the car is lighter, or the output is higher, or maybe a bit of both.

(there is however, no mention of the size of the crank pulley)

It seems like every dyno shop/tuner had a video of a STOCK P1X 2018+ Coyote making 900whp on e85

These are 9500rpm race engines on C85

Rulebook states upper and lower pulley spec for 4.11 step up procharger. They spin the engine to get the performance they are looking for. 8k, 9k, 10k rpm who knows. You are still stuck on max impeller rpm and I'm not sure why. They weigh the car at tech and after each pass. So it meets the rules. What else u got?
