New tune feels pretty sweet. It is very smooth. Could just be a placebo effect but the car feels faster too.

I'm trying to figure out if I successfully downloaded the new calibration. Can someone tell me what's its called. I seem to have to different named calibrations on my laptop. I'm not sure if either is the new one

Update:
I contacted Dustin at Whipple. Great customer service... I flashed the car again and everything worked great. I was worried last night because when I started the car, the traction control light was on. I turned the car off and restarted it. The light went off and didn't come back on during the drive home. One thing I did not do that Dustin told me was clearing the DTC errors. That one was on me…. Now everything is working great. I also removed the temporary bypass fitting. Now the car feels great getting on the freeways ;)

Did you guys have to flash back to your factory tune before you were able to download the new cal through the Flare program's Download tab? I've tried numerous times with my voucher and get the 404 error.

You should always flash back (restore) to OEM cal then you load and flash the new cal and it will first extract the OEM cal then save it to that file younare loaded. Whipple calibration are made to be loaded over the stock cal in this fashion.

I had originally received the 404 error as well.

What you need to do is start the flare program on your laptop, then plug in the obd2 tool to the laptop, turn the car on (just accessory), plug the obd2 tool into the car, this will then allow you to download the new tune.* Open your current whipple calibration through flare, hit restore. This will return the car back to stock and takes about 7 or 8 minutes. You then cycle the car off for 5 seconds, cycle it back on (just accessory), use flare program to open new file (this time the new downloaded tune), and hit program. This will take another 7 to 8 minutes. Afterwards, cycle the car off for 5 seconds, then back on. You may have to use the clear DTC function in the flare program. Voila!

You can definitely feel the difference with the new tune. No more stutter/jerky sensation!

*If you are like me and don't have wifi where you park you car, unplug the obd2 tool from the car at this time and leave the obd2 plugged into the laptop. Go inside where there is wifi, download the tune, and then come back out to the car and proceed.

I also didn't find a need to connect a battery charger as I only lost about .2 volts during the entire process.

Make sure to follow then new instructions as well for registering with micromotive.net so that you have an email and password to apply to the flare program page. Can't get the tune without registering. Maybe everyone has done that already but I haven't seen it talked about so just saying.

I've done all the steps numerous times and still get the 404 error. Ive registered as well. I didn't know what address to put so I used Whipple's that was listed in the instructions. At my wits end on this one lol.

So while I did this I decided to to finally try turning knock limit off. Whipple keeps recommending this... But I was too lazy

Took it for a test drive and wow!!!! The car feels a lot faster than before lol. I've been running octanium plus 91 for months now.. I'm wondering if I just now am feeling that octane boost. Feels like it has 50 hp more
