A couple weeks ago I wrote a post about my turbo housing having a leak at the turbo housing. I have an ATM Fmic and a sct tune and I was nervous bringing it my first time.
1. My appointment was Monday so Sunday morning I went back to stock tune.
2. I was at ford all of 30 min before they came back and told me I'm getting a brand new turbo!!!!
3. I have the front number honeycomb removed on bottom so you can clearly see the huge Fmic sitting up front
4. Great experience no issues, and looking forward to getting this baby working correctly again
5. I did have an MRT catted downpipe, I was nervous that would be an issue since it bolts directly on the turbo, so I did go back to stock before service appointment
I hope this eases the minds of some people looking to do work on their car but afraid of warranty, so I thought I would log my experience. I will update once I get my new turbo, it's in order now and I'm able to drive the car until it comes in. Oh and I'm assuming this issue may be common based on the fact that it took them 15 min to diagnose and order the turbo.
