So guys my stock turbo blew. Oil seals went bad. Having it replaced with the Ford High preformance bolt on HPP/Focus RS turbo. Having a shop install it, gonna have PD tuning tune it. I currently have the car tuned and stock turbo has IGW75 with the 10lb spring. What is the stock spring that comes in the Ford High preformance turbo wastegate? Is it worth swapping the IGW75 over with the 10lb spring and does it really make that much of a difference between the two when the car is tuned?

Having just swapped the stock one with a 7# IWG, yeah it's worth it
Beside, you already have it right?

Yeah I already have the IGW75, with the 10lb spring currently on the stock turbo. I got the Ford Preformance turbo in yesterday, having it installed and tuned next week

I would just continue using the Turbosmart with the Ford Performance turbo.
I’m running the 12# on stock turbo tuned by Ryan.

Got the Ford Preformance turbo installed. Just waiting on a tune from PD tuning and it'll be good to go. We will see how this turbo pairs with full bolt ons

Did you do the swap yourself? How long did it take?

I had a regular mechanic shop swap it out, charged me $470 for everything and only took them 3-4 hours. I dropped it off in the morning and they had it done by the end of the day.

Giving a little update, I'm currently still in the data logging process but have a 1st revision that I'm running on. And even with this tune from PD, it's a whole different car now with the new turbo. Granted I would probably make alot more with a NX2 or BNR but I had a certain budget I was working with and went with Ford High Preformance turbo instead. I don't have any regrets. The car pulls hard all the way through the RPMS and doesn't have that drastic drop off the stock turbo has. Technically this is a stock turbo, it's the same turbo that comes on the Focus RS and HPP Eco Mustangs but Ford promotes the turbo itself as a "Bolt on High preformance Turbo" for a replacement over the stock turbo that comes in the base models.

Have you data logged the HP and TQ shown on the cobb yet to see what it is showing, granted it's just an estimate of crankshaft output but would be interesting to see what it is showing.

Not yet but I will. I made 350whp/422rwtq on a dyno with the stock turbo last year. With the HPP turbo I figure it's probably anywhere from 370-380whp/430rwtq.

Be careful with the torque number. You're at about the max for a stock block.
