Just got Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust. Emailed back from Roush and they will not warrenty any a supercharger as a 2016 GT/CS is apparently too old. So now I have to decide if I void the 3 year/36k mile extended warrenty I got and have a VMP supercharger installed along with engine sleeved/forged and some other work to beef it up to handle forced induction. Along with all the other mods, fuel pump, single piece aluminum drive shaft, upgraded clutch/etc. Or wait till the warrenty is up and then just get the engine/trans rebuilt to handle all of the listed mods. What should I do?

What’s your end goal?

If you are planning to spend the $ to go through the engine/drivetrain anyway, might as well get the party started. IF something happens under warranty, you’ll be starting over with stock parts anyway.

You could always grab the blower now and let it ride on the stock engine. You’ll probably have transmission issues before anything else.

If your concern is conserving an engine build fund for a bit, ride out the warranty period. Basic bolt ons won’t void the coverage unless they’re the direct cause of a major failure.

Just do it. You will be pissed you didn't do it earlier. If you paid for the warranty, check the language, but you should be able to get at least some of your $$$ back.

My opinion is based on my situation, that being that my first got my F250 diesel, I had the same issue. It was sub 10k miles, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to void that to install some "performance enhancements". And drop a whole bunch of weight. Well I did those enhancements, and now at 220,000 miles, the truck runs like a top, and only failures were known failure points (Charge pipe). Knock on wood.

I also have a second form of transportation So I may be bias when I say do it and don't look back.

2016 has a gen2 coyote, probably one of the best gen for boost. Stock motor will handle any thing you put on it for 93 pump gas, and it will easily do about 850/900 whp on e85. Full send the vmp supercharger, ive heard very good things about it. The odds of your motor being a weak point are slim, so long as your parts and tune are on point.
If you want more than that, you will probably need a built motor and such, which i doubt anyone making 1000+ whp is considering reliability as a goal, since no car making that power is reliable from a daily driver perspective

So gen 2 can handle a supercharger prior to a full rebuild and beefing up the bottom end ?

Of course. You need injectors, but otherwise 700 whp on stock motor is fine. People do 850whp on e85 reliably
Of course its less reliable than stock, but if all it put together well and tuned well, its a good setup that can be easily daily driven. I wouldnt consider a rebuild engine until 1000whp+ goals

its very recommended, especially for gen2 and 1 to do oil pump gears, and crank sprocket while the pump gears. Those can fail in general, moreso when boosted. They generally 99% of the time are okay, until you hit rev limiter or a 2step which is a rev limiter by design. Those vibrations shatter oil pump gears.
Im gen3 coyote which has a slightly better stock oil pump gear so i left it stock, and in the future when i do timing i plan on the gears and whole timing upgraded

Was looking at ID1300 injectors/snow billet triple pump fuel system, one piece aluminum drive shaft, Mcleod RST twin disk rated 800HP, Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel 8 Bolt. Nitto tires, 2018 ported manifold or a GT-350 manifold.
What's a good oil pump and any other recommendations for parts.

Yes, but if you want really decent reliability boosted with a stock motor, run E85 and test your fillups. Pump gas is fine, until it's not.
