At cruse nights my 2008 Shelby always got more lookers than my two frinds C7s. The Shelby always got looks, I have only had the 18 for 4 days and 3 of them it has rained so I don't know. I love the S550 one of the best ever. IMHO.

I've had the car two full years and I still get 2-3 comments a week. Black on black on black all cleaned up makes for the most attention-getting "stealthy" car out there.

Yep definitely a head turner, people crossing the street would do a double take then point it out to their companion. at the carwash people like to check it out and ask to see the interior. people come up to me and chat, car is a conversation piece. i get a lot of compliments mostly about the color.

Oddly enough, I don't get any compliments, other than from friends and family (which is what counts, anyways, and they all love it, even people who have cars that cost three times more than mine). Perhaps these things are becoming too common.. I was sitting at an outside cafe in Santa Barbara, CA, yesterday, and in a period of 15 minuters I saw three S550s, all convertibles, just drive by...

It must have been pretty cool when the first ones hit the streets last year.

Still, everytime I look at mine I smile.

I'm surprised I get compliments all the time,can't go any place without some one saying nice ride or I hate fords but they got that one right

Of all the places to get compliments I get more from folks at farm stores like rural king or tractor supply. I go there a few times a week. Old guys get so interested in the car walking up to it or catching me coming out the store to ask me about it. Whats puzzling is they know most past mustangs but hadn't a clue that Ford has built this car in the past few years. ..And they think its a sleek beautiful car too. Kinda makes my day lol

I had to beat them off with a stick yesterday...must have been the bright sun hitting the ruby red and it wasn't even very clean. One guy took several minutes to express his joy about his mom used to have a 68...

It's funny, being in Michigan where the Mustang is developed and manufactured, there are S550's all over the place so not many people hand out compliments. I travel a lot and never see as many as here.

When the car is CLEAN (magnetic metallic PP GT with the black PP wheels) the car gets a ton of attention and compliments.

When dirty, no one bats an eye..

Happens all the time, almost every time I drive the car. Half the time its middle aged guys telling me how they used to have a stang until they got married or that they have one back in the garage.

A couple weeks ago I was downtown at a red light with my windows down. Then all the sudden someone was sticking their head in the passenger side window and it was a cop. I freaked out on the inside for a second cause I thought I was gonna get yelled at for having a loud car or whatever. But he immediately asked if my Vossen's were real and said the car was awesome and sounded great and to stay safe, real nice guy. Always appreciate nice people wanting to talk/ask about the car.

Yeah, Ford employees get good deals on new Fords. So a LOT of new single employees buy a Mustang. Ford parking lots are filled with Mustangs and Escapes depending on marital status.

It's amazing how well they can do that!! :lol:

I know exactly when those laser beams are focused, I call her crazy town, not just crazy, she is easily as crazy as an entire town of wives.

I mean that in the most positive way of course.
