Cruising down I-26 a state trooper rolled down her window, waved at us, then passed by us. I told my wife this was probably the first one she had seen that wasn't flying by!

I went to a car show in our downtown district. It is an annual event that is normally restricted to cars that are at least 20 years old and have collectors plates. They make an exception each year for the "Featured" vehicle model. This year it was Ford, so I was invited to participate. I was shocked at the number of people who had never seen the new S550 design before....tons of compliments on the color and two-tone dark saddle interior. The best part of the night was when it got dark and I was able to have a little fun by clicking the unlock button on my key fob to turn on the running lights and flash the pony projector lamps on the ground next to the doors. The kids (and adults) would go crazy, running up and trying to figure out where they came from, taking photos, etc.. I almost felt like Ford should have been paying me for free advertising that night... :ford:

Go through drive thrus more. I've had a few women flirt with me in the drive thru
I've had the women in the drive through thing a few times. It was more complimentary than flirtatious, aside from one very odd encounter at McDonald's I posted video from in the dash cam thread a while back. At the inside counter at Subway a couple weeks ago the girl working said "I'm in love with your car!"

It's still definitely a dude magnet too though..LOL

Had a woman in a New (ish) Maserati Gran Turismo eyeballing my car as we drove past and she was smiling. I alway like when people in more expensive cars look at my car. I take it as a compliment but it also strikes me funny because I'd love to be driving their cars as well lol

Thanks for reviving this post Wesley! I was beginning to wonder if my vert was invisible for a while and then the compliments started showing up this summer. Had a guy drive up next to me and say "that's a really nice ride".... another guy pulled up next to me and yelled "Vert Man!" didn't get it at first until I realized I was wearing a DC T-shirt with a Batman Logo on it :captain:... I think he was being sarcastic as he drove past in his pickup truck . A lady came out of Home Depot as I was walking from the back of the parking lot. She was an employee and thus was headed towards the outskirts as well.... she said "wow, thanks for bringing me my ride home... it's absolutely beautiful!
My wife was driving it around town doing errands and a lady pulls up next to her and says: "Beautiful car, I love the sound of your exhaust...it's nice to hear a real engine.... everything is just so boring and quiet these days".... my wife replies... "yeah, that was my husbands idea".
Also had a guy in an M3 convertible catch up to me downtown...I could hear someone yell.."what kind of exhaust is that?" I turn around and here is the guy in the M3... He says: "Man that sounds awesome, I could hear you all the way back there!".. I told him it was the Corsa sport and we chatted for a bit until the stop light turned green. Gotta love Corsa....it was tailor made for the 5.0 coyote

I'd be taking pictures of your ride too. Just don't see these every day..especially with that killer red interior!
I love the clip at the end of the lady doing a double take as well...
Yeah, been getting compliments all summer and forgot all about this thread until I remembered my new Owl dashcam where it's easy as pie to download the footage to my phone, then I remembered all the times I mentioned people taking pictures of my car on this thread with no video to prove it.

We all have such stories. I also took a lady friend with me to test drive a 6 speed Mustang GT. That is when I discovered how much HP this car actually has and what a problem that clutch spring was. When my 2017 came in I took her for a drive in it. First thing she asked me is if my car was a chick magnet. Nope, it is a young guy magnet.
I have had numerous conversations with lots of people about my Mustang. Everyone loves the car and the Ruby Red color. And most of my friends agreed with me. If you are going to have a car like this it should be a six speed manual.

Man I am glad I found this thread....at 48 I have never owned a car like my Mustang....I bought it in black and the comments have been non stop, mostly from men and young kids...

"Man, that is one MEAN looking car..."
" LISTEN to it! So BAD%^^!!"
Lots of just simple "Nice car."

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get off on the comments....as noted in this thread...not many FEMALE comments...my wife likes that...LOL

I was about to get in my car in the Walmart parking lot when an older guy walked by, looked at the car and asked if it was a 2020, I said no, it was an early 2016, he was dumbfounded and gushed about how good it looked and it seemed brand new, I said thanks, appreciate it and he went on his way.

I stopped at the local sub shop the other day and while I was ordering a lady walks in the door and asks who owns the red car. Had me kinda worried but I said I did. She says that's a beautiful car. What is it? I told her she is a 2019 Mustang GT. She said Wow. From the back it looks like a Maserati. I thought the tail lights were a giveaway as to what she is. Lol. Then she said she hadn't intended to eat there but the car drew her in.

I finally did it! Found a great deal on a 2017 GT premium pp. 3,000 km’s on it! In a week I put on another 1,800km’s (can’t get out of it). It has some axle backs on it from the previous owner but otherwise a stock car. Tons of comments on grabber blue. Lots of looks everywhere I go. A huge step up from my last mustang which was an 86 fox I had 9 years ago. Met a lady at a shop that has a 2011 v6(pic)which was her brother before he passed away. Amazing the people you meet that may not be car people but seem to love mustangs.

Was picking up my daughter from school and she told me this little boy, who looked to be in 1st grade, said ā€˜That’s Batman’s car’. I don’t think I’m going to ever get a better compliment than that. My car is grey so that helps fit the Batman theme.
