When Ford Motor Co. compliments your Mustang ;)

Maybe I'm showing off just a bit, but I thought it was pretty cool that Ford complimented our 2020 Mustang on a recent social media post. I've had an Instagram account highlighting our car for about two years and my kids convinced me to start a TIkTok account earlier this year. I made a post recently where I videoed my wife driving the car and it got way more attention than I ever imagined. Low and behold next thing I know Ford Motor Co (whoever holds the keys to their social media presence anyway) commented with a compliment of the car. So anyway just want to share with everyone, yes it was a proud moment ;)

I thought I was old but you must be really old if that's surprising or funny to you. What you don't realize is that these 'car accounts' like mine earn money directly from the social media platforms and get free stuff from sponsors, hence the reason for starting the TikTok account after having success with the IG account. Guess I get the last laugh

Very cool, I am near Spring Cypress and Telge, so just south of you. I have come very close to taking the car to MSR on a couple of occasions but either weather or family life has gotten in the way. I just installed an MGW shifter so I'm ready to put it to the test! Speaking of Tomball, I attend at least half of the Speed Advocates meets at Rudy's on 249 (they run typically every-other Thursday). Not sure if you are familar with that group or that meet, but you should definitely check it out. It consist of mature car enthusiast from all over Houston and always has a great mix of badass cars.

Right on. Trust me I know all about balancing car and family time, not to mention work. It's a juggling act but I wouldn't trade it. Look forward to seeing you at some point hopefully.

Awesome man, I would love to see the Shelby sometime! If you don't already follow them please check out Speed Advocates on facebook or IG. It's a really great group of people and cars, there are two meets per month just a few miles away at Rudy's BBQ on 249.

Thank you I appreciate that. Yes it's definitely cool to get to see what other people around the country (and world) do with their Mustangs. Such a fun car to customize with limitless options.
