I scored a second CF wheel off ebay. Brand new in the box, a rear wheel for $2k. A while back, I bought a damaged rear wheel that is now repaired and complete thanks to spyder composites. So all I need at this point is 2 fronts to enjoy the full (guilt free) CF experience with a set of beater CF wheels.

Yep, I keep the OEM that came with the car as it was delivered. I want to get away from the aluminum signature wheels for street use. Hit a rock, who cares....

Well, what brought it all on was the 500 CF wheels that I have been scoring. I just grabbed another front recently (for a total of 3... a spare front is always handy). All I need is a rear 500 CF wheel and I have a "beater" set. I figured why not do the same with the 350 and get away from those aluminum wheels. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but if I can keep my OEM original wheels perfect, why not have a set of street CF wheels for both the 350R and the 500 CFTP?

Keep an eye out for me too! :) I saw both of the ones that you ended up with. I actually tried to buy one from the same guy you got your new one from, but this one was slightly damaged.

How was your experience with spyder? Any pics?

One of the GT350R CF wheels was purchased from a member here. It was significantly damaged and i took a chance on it. It was able to be repaired, but the process is not cheap.

The second GT350R wheel was brand new, never used. It came in the box.

Are you referring to the GT500 wheels?
