The diff will only have issues with different left and right tire sizes. If they're the same size, it'll operate just as it should.

So we know the 19x11 +50 works flawlessly with a 305/30 and some camber work.

What about a 19x11.5 +56? Same size tire or even bumping to a 315/30? Most likely a coilover setup would be needed? Possibly even offset strut?

19x11.5 +56 you can run up to a 325 no problem

I understand that you can run a 325 on a 19x11.5 without issue. My question was more of a does it fit with a 315/325 size tire front and rear

What are the (readily available) specific tires you want to run in 315 or 325 on a 19” wheel? Lots of options in 305, there is a slight drop off in selection as you go up from there, at least in 19”.

However, even a 305 will be better supported when mounted on an 11.5” or even 12” wide wheel. Puts the maximum amount of given tread to the ground as possible, while minimizing lateral tire deflection due to the extra sidewall support. Great technique to tighten up handling on an autocross/track car so you’re no longer wondering why it feels like vague jello at the limit in corners (tires can deflect up to 2” relative to the wheel they’re mounted to).

Sport Cup 2s which is available in either size.

Again, my initial question was just something I was wondering if the 19x11.5 would work and if a larger than 305 could be used.

I know the rear fits without issue but wasn't sure if anyone had even contemplated trying to shove an 11.5" wide wheel up front

Some of the crazier autocrossers run wider than 11” in the front. (BoardKat and others), and you can their threads in the Track subforum.

The wider sies start requiring additional mods tho. It starts gets hard above 11” wide, but yeah people do it.

I'll probably just order a 19x11.5 from Apex and a 305/30 and mount it up and see what it looks like up front and the back.

So as a quick recap, 19x11 with effectively a +30 front offset is fine with 305/30/19 with koni and steeda CC plates running camber -2.5 or more negative for fender clearance.

My M350 19x11+55 with +25mm spacer makes the offset +30 and looked like the wheel cleared just fine, but the 325 slightly rubbed the strut. The 325’s were on hand and just for shits and giggles really.

This thread helped me out immensely, so I'll share my two cents / setup.
I went from Stance XR1 coils back to stock struts and CJPP Springs (1.5" front, 1.1" rear drop).
Combined with a BMR camber bolt on the front, I was able to get about -2.8 degrees of camber in the front. Rear is at about 1.5 degrees.

I have P6GR 19x11 +24, 19x11.5 +56, which are specs made directly for the GT350.
Tires are 305/30/19 front, 325/30/19 rear. Excited to throw on some more suspension parts and go to more track days this year. Car was way too low on coilovers and in Illinois, it's much more forgiving to be on springs vs coils for my only car.

Gorgeous car man. Love Grabber blue with black wheels. Your set up looks nice. How do you like rolling on that set up as your daily, was the added expense worth it? Any terrible tire wear or too soon to tell? Do you do a lot of track events or just a handful each year? Sorry I just posted a thread about this subject so ur opinion would be helpful.

I ended up picking up a set of Vossen VFS1s that I thought were 20x 10.5

They are actually a 20x 11 +55 offset squared setup and am wondering if im going to be able to fit them upfront,

I have a 2017 gt with eibach sportlines
You'll need a 27-30mm spacer or so up front, and adequate camber via camber plates (not bolts) to tuck them under the fenders.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I only do a handful of events a year, and haven't really had a chance to try out this setup quite yet this year. Personally, I think the added expense was well worth it, even just on springs it's a huge head turner at cars and coffee because you don't really see too many mustangs with a 305 up in the front. Tire wear is completely normal after the alignment, since toe and caster are all still in order. Have about 3,500mi on the setup now and tread looks almost new.

@hson10 Got any bright daylight photos of your car? Looks awesome!
Always appreciate it :) here are some pics in bright(er) light! I'll be going out soon to take more pictures when it's sunny
