Hi guys, this might be a dumb question but I currently have 11 inch wheels in my rear with 285 and fronts are 10 inch with 255. Can I run a square setup if I run 285 tires in the front or would this not work?

You can, run 285s on a 10" wheel just fine. A square setup is running the same wheel and tire all around, though.

I went with 265/40R19's for mine, because it's a daily highway cruiser with 19x10 SVE R350 wheels. I found the 1/2" of stretch to be just about perfect for spirited handling, and maintaining a smooth ride without compromising rain or snow traction from excessively wide tires.

You can run those tires, but they will have a stretched difference between them, and there will be a very slight difference in the handling characteristic between the front and rear. It's always best to run the same rims for the same tires. This also allows for tire rotation.
