Hey everyone! Just picked up a manual Mach 1 and I have a set of TuxMats I just put in. So far it doesn't feel like it interferes with the clutch, especially with some wearing in over time, but I wanted to know if anyone else had experience using them in their manual S550s. Has anyone had any issues with them in a manual?

I haven’t tried these so I don’t know but so far every set of aftermarket mats I’ve tried have created a problem. Not directly with the clutch but with my my size 14 feet, which are then raised enough to create clutch problems and problems touching more than one pedal at once. Maybe with normal size feet they’d be good.

I can definitely see how a size 14 would cause an issue, I'm a size 12 and in some cars I have problems hitting more than one pedal. Yeah definitely going to keep an eye on them, make sure the clutch can fully travel and everything.

Any clutch interference issues at all? And did you have to make any modification to the mat to accommodate the clutch travel?

No and no. I've been so happy with them that now I buy them for every vehicle that I get.

I have the weather tech mats on my manual 2016, no issues with fitment or interference with the pedal.

Hello fellow Bigfoot. Size 14 here as well and I do at times hit the brake and clutch at the same time LOL. Gives you quite a jolt to the system.
FWIW I have the OEM ford mats but the ones that slightly cover the dead pedal.
Which may explain why I can’t squeeze my foot to actually use the dead pedal hmm. Only car I’ve ever had an issue with. I think it’s because the clutch pedal comes out at an angle… but you’ve given me something to try.

Well, that and some of those little wimpy looking driving shoes. I hate the way they look on me but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I drive barefoot if I’m wearing flip flops. Otherwise, they catch on the floormats when working the clutch.
