Hey guys,

My exhaust setup has been nice for the past year or so but it is very loud and personally wanting to bring down the volume just a little. I have BBK long tube headers, off road connection pipes (Catless), X-pipes, roush axleback exhaust. What is y’all’s recommendation on modifying the exhaust to get it just a tad bit quieter?

Are you talking GT350 or GT (sig)?
Inthehighdesert hit it. If it’s a GT350, stock sounds great to me.

Put some bullet mufflers where the aftermarket cats would go.

It is a Gt and i am definitey not taking my headers off but maybe switch the x pipes or the roush axleback exhaust

You may want to ask in the GT section. Probably more GT guys there.

Basically glass packs, but get quality ones that use stainless steel packing.
This, or they are commonly sold as resonators. Takes a lot of the rasp out while leaving the nice, low rumbles.

Something like this instead of the x pipe, could take the edge off a little. It’s a H pipe with “hotdogs”.

Thinking about getting this unit with my AE system. Apparently it’s less raspy than normal h or x pipes.

Look at vibrant products. They have some killer resonators. Maybe put some cats back and a set of resonators. The hardest part is going to be finding one short enough to fit in some of the small straights in the tubing.
