I am planning on adding a vinyl graphic to the hood of my Competition Orange GT350. I have gotten away from the Mach 1 concept that I planned before I took delivery. This car has a different personality and needs something that reflects that. For now it's only a Photoshop concept.

Do I go with the Shelby snake?

Or do I add the stripe along with it.

No stripes or stripes. No snake.

Maybe satin/matte stripes like the R

After a couple weeks looking at options for the exterior of the Shelby, I pulled the trigger on the hood stripe with a local graphics company. This took about 1 hour to produce and install.
This is my last exterior modification . . . .

Just striping the hood?
Yep, taking it slow, don't want to go overboard. Something about gong down the front and across the top with stripes that doesn't sit right with me for this car. And I can add more stripes or a black top later if that is what I decide.

It absolutely would not have been my choice, but it's not bad looking at all.

Wow, that looks great!

I was thinking the background of the snake should have been white; or at least the outline. Seeing the pictures though... it looks just right. Still wondering about the roof stripes or black roof though. I'll have to see it in person.

it looks better for real then the photochop.

When I bought my car, the dealer web site did not have any "stickers". They pulled it around for a test drive and i was floored from the "stickers". I made such a fuss. Said I wouldnt consider the car anymore. They ended up giving me the "stickers" and tint for free and ate the $795 they were trying to upcharge.

That being said. I couldn't imagine the car without it now.
