It's not identical. The large assemblies and gears are. The valve pack is different I've read and the control mechanism and software are very different.

Nope. I just come to this forum and read about A10 complaints every other day. I do know there is a TSB for wonky shifting on some versions.

No. I did at Enterprise. They may have called to get the auth number to use the Ford price. I can't recall exactly.

Well I got a call from the service manager at demontrond. She called to tell me they had a loaner set up for me but it fell thru because the customer's cat that has it isn't ready. I'm like you called to tell me that??? WTF... so I ask when they'll be looking at my car... she doesn't know. When will a loaner be available? 90 days.... so I casually ask if I need to get an attorney to get this resolved and she says "you said attorney, I can't talk to you anymore" and hung up!!! WOW

I mean that's normal, most employees are trained to shut down the second "lawyer" or "attorney" is mentioned.

Honestly don't even bother saying those words unless you've already procured counsel.

You need to ask yourself, is being pissed off and making empty threats worth making this more difficult?

None taken AZ, but it was not an empty threat. Honestly they're was zero good will on their part. Zero. They basically told me to go fuck myself in a semi professional way. Not helpful whatsoever. I already spoke to an attorney and I have a valid lemon law claim due to the fact there is documented history of the exact issue being repaired under warranty 3 times prior to 24k miles, on a known problem that's currently in a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. I've gathered a lot of good info on this site for sure


For what it's worth I was very kind and gracious at the start of this, and they ran all over me, which I hoped would not be the case. If you don't know how to stand up for yourself they will literally do nothing for you, even if they know you are 100% legit in what you're asking for. C8 looking pretty good about now
