2016 mustang gt premium
purchased my dream car last year 2016 gt premium then I read about class action suit Chinese manual transmission failure. 2012 to 2019 model. did they go back to Tremic or Borg Warner on 2020 model?

Bill, there are hundreds of posts on the MT-82. Read some on this forum to get an idea of what is going on. Most have little or no issue with the tranny. However, some have issues and Ford has not done much to make it right. The shifter has changed some with years and you can peruse the posts here to see what those are or ask a specific question. Most feel that it is the quality control on assembly that is the issue on the ones effected. Knowledge is power and you can learn a lot reading past posts.

If you drive the car "normally" you shouldn't have an issue, so really nothing to worry about if that is the case. IF NOT have no fear we have you covered. We sell Tremec T56 Magnum swaps here at www.lethalperformance and built Calimer MT-82s which are great alternatives to a stock MT-82.
