But that aside let us simply admit that these cars are very loud. I know, mine is loud. What do you expect to happen in a place with stringent noise regulations? Then to top it off you had two other violations. Tint, well, cops really don't like when they can't see what your hands are doing. It was the combination of violations that likely led to the stop. I know cops, tint often leads to other things, and they play percentages.

Did you buy the Mach 1 not to get noticed?

I know it's fashionable to make fun of cops these days; if you ever need 911 make sure you show them this thread.

I asked a PA state troop about window tinting and he said if he couldn't see the driver he would add it to a ticket he was writing. Meaning keep the tint low and you're good to go.

My mother in law just left last year. Sold (southern Cal Redlands area.) and moved out to Arizona with us. She migrated there in the early 80s from Mexico. It was very sad for her because that’s all she knew. I will say California is an absolutely gorgeous state. But it is very expensive to live in.

I do not want to derail the thread, but if you floor it in Sport+ mode, the active valves get fully open. So there is no difference between this and the Track mode. I guess the idea is not to floor it near the cops .

You can see it in this video, look up Sport mode after 4:07 mark, there is a moment the valve gets fully open (does not happen in Normal, or Quiet though).
