I had my front fascia on and off a few times when I fabricated my own front hook mount. Most every fastener allows easy access save for the ones just in front of each headlight, you are absolutely right Alton. S197 and previous Mustang chassis cars didn't have this stumbling block. I'd like to know why it is so poorly placed because logic would dictate that it would have been engineered better than this - unless it was done for some sort of crash testing advantage, etc.Interesting. I have pretty small hands and just tried to take the bumper off. The side screws are such a PITA to get to. Now mind you I've taken the bumper off of my GT a million times. Only took me like 3-4 minutes to get the damn bumper off. In this case it's like the side screw is a bit further back, so even my tiny hands can't get to it. Gonna have to buy some extension stuff.

One could imagine the difficulty GT4 teams must have in the pits after a shunt that necessitated repair. There's no way that that connection can be accessed quickly. I was having lunch with a couple of Dean Martin's IMSA crew and mentioned pulling the entire fascia to access the bumper for a hook mount and both asked me how I enjoyed those PIA fasteners - we all laughed and were in agreement, WTF Ford? Now that it was on my radar I started paying closer attention to the GT4 cars and how the teams deal with it as well.
While in a number of press photos, Ford's GT4 "press car" if you will, looked great in this regard. But it looks as though in reality the teams just say ***k it and go old school. Look close...

Most all of the teams like to use a clear tape over the joint and not put the fasteners in and I can't blame them...

Why Ford, why?
