Top Speed

Does anyone know the top speed for the +2018 convertibles? Both top up and down? I assume it's less aerodynamic than the hard top and I was wondering if it can hit the speed limiter in either configuration.

Top down around 120 and that’s with a wind screen. After that the wind gets incredibly turbulent. Top up same as a coupe.

I got up to 123 (top down) before traffic and better sense took over.

Top up, I've had mine to 145 and still seemed to have quite a bit more, just ran out of road. LOL

I remember being around 120 when the turbulence got bad enough I had to let off. Maybe a difference between windscreen and no windscreen.

I can't remember if my windows were down or up. I do not have a windscreen. Car was still pulling like a freight train.

I hit 135 top down before I had to let off due to upcoming traffic. Damn donkey carts down in Mexico appear out of nowhere.

I've hit 155mph top down and 160 top up. It shouldn't be able to hit those speeds as my car is stock and the rev limiter should have kicked in at some point, but I have a 3.15 rearend, so I think that let's me go a bit faster due to my lower rpms at speed.

155 top down!! Wow, the wind buffeting must have been exciting.

The top down run was the night I bought the car and I wanted to see what she'll do. I wasn't thinking about the top being down. I had a couple of hoodies in the car and they almost blew out the car. Luckily I grabbed them, then I slowed down.
