I put the Steeda spring in if anything it's piece of mind for about $20.

After removing spring, I could never go back.I bought the spring a couple weeks ago and planned to install it last weekend. I was at my wit's end this past thursday. It was the worst day I'd had yet with regard to the jerking and general annoyance factor. Like magic, on Friday it was awesome for the most part, and every day since. I don't feel like I'm driving it any differently or if it's breaking in a bit (i'm at one month and almost 2k miles), but it's been no big deal since that day. Still not sure if I want to put the steeda spring in there or just leave it alone. I wanted to teach my wife to drive it though, so it might be best to go ahead and swap it in.
X2. I pulled mine out a long time ago and recently bought the Steeda for shits and giggles. Put it in and could not tell it was there. Better safe than sorry if there is a slight chance it could cause leaking issues.I put the Steeda spring in if anything it's piece of mind for about $20.
I'm curious if Steeda is going to reply here?I read that too. When I googled that issue, I heard it was just marketing ploy with little truth to it. I don't know how much I believe that because the 2005-2009's didn't have that spring and their master cylinders were fine. Also, doesn't the pressure plate cause the clutch pedal come back up anyways?? There are some guys who have over 100k miles on it without that spring and fine cylinders. Would love to hear people's thoughts on it though.
Are you grabbing the pedal with your hand and pulling up on it to see if that's true?My clutch returns 100% to top without the stock spring. No steeda spring needed.
Foot. No movement at all.Are you grabbing the pedal with your hand and pulling up on it to see if that's true?
Same here, I have had no assist spring for 25k miles now and the pedal has never failed to return all the way.My clutch returns 100% to top without the stock spring. No steeda spring needed.
