My tire inflator kit has expired what is the next step. Meaning get a new one or they check it at dealer?

If there is no guidance in the owner's manual about this, I would ask your local Ford dealer if the sealant can be replaced separately, or if the entire unit (air pump + sealant) has to be purchased.

When I had to replace just the sealant for my wife's M-B SLK350 tire inflator/repairer, it cost somewhere between $60 - $80, if I recall correctly.

By the way, glad your daughter wasn't hurt in her car accident, but sorry your Bullitt was totaled.

I used mine a few years ago and all I needed to do was drop by the dealer and pick up a refill. Not expensive and easy to install in place of the original. No sweat.

GG (@IceAge), if you consider getting a spare tire, I can endorse Tom's (@Tomster) post above for buying from Automotive Authority, noted in the link he provided, as that is who I bought my spare tire from for my Shelby.
Expect to pay several hundred dollars for the tire, rim, and spacer; they even sell a scissors jack if you're so inclined to need/want an extra one of those.

I think having a spare available is a wise investment, as I had a similar experience as Tom's relatives, and once hit a pothole driving my Maxima that literally gouged a 1 inch hole from the rubber ripped out of a tire. The only solution to keep driving was to use my spare; no tire air pump or sealant would have helped in that case.

Thanks everyone I grabbed the one out of my crashed Bullitt and just wondering is this thing trash. And or get it refilled was the point.

First off.. if the tire is repairable good luck if it's already filled with that goop. I just use mine as a inflator, and I carry a plug kit. 30 years using plug kits and never had a tire fail when installed correctly. From towing 20000lbs at highway speed to drag racing.

As a motorcyclist and someone who has had multiple vehicles with different sized tires front and rear, I've never relied on spare tires. Even on cars that I have a spare in, I carry a small compressor and a good plug kit.

I too carry a plug kit. On longer trips I’ll bring my small floor jack and tools to remove the tire if necessary. Placed a plug in the rear tire of my 350 10,000 miles ago. I’ve had no issues.

Mine is in storage and replaced by an oil bag with 1 qt of 5w50. It fits perfectly. And it saves a couple of pounds :)

Get a spare tire kit. The pump and goo is useless in most cases. It’s only good for slow leaks. If you get a real puncture of a cut, it’s not going to work as I found out on a 105 degree day in the middle of a humid summer…..when I got my second 350, the next day I ordered the kit.

If I leave town, the spare goes with me.
