Any idea why they’re afraid to touch that part of the tune ? @engineermikeI emailed Lund about adjusting my tune to increase throttle response to help when I change gears he said they do not touch that part of a tune and it’s the same for every gen 2 mustang. He said if you want more power, increase your boost. Is it power or is it throttle response? He said he can’t help me.
Afraid? Doubtful. Not willing to offset their cost center to put in another minute on a customer that’s already considered done - probably. That’s the Lund way. When they say it’s done, it’s done or you’re fired.Any idea why they’re afraid to touch that part of the tune ? @engineermike

probably don't want to deal with going back and forth adjusting the sensitivity with peopleAny idea why they’re afraid to touch that part of the tune ? @engineermike

Sport mode will make you slower in the long run. Running with my buddy in my R following him around just fine until I accidently put it in sport mode. He immediately pulled me out of the corner. I thought something brokeSport mode has the twitchest throttle among the three stock modes. That's why I keep it in Sport mode when on track because it helps me heel toe rev match since stabbing the throttle is enough to increase the RPMs to an adequate level. I find that in normal and track mode a much deeper throttle stab is necessary which can complicate the heel toe maneuver.
