Just found this posted on facebook. Aparently pic taken at an Australian dealership. Pretty much sums up the attitude of Ford Australia. Before and after they have your deposit/money.

Has anyone here experienced a delay in the delivery process due to the wiring loom issue that is affecting RHD GT's currently being delivered in the UK?

I think ours were done during build Drew, there were no outstanding field service requirements on my Etis at the time that came to light in the UK and it was around our build dates...apparently it's a two minute fix with some tape and zipties.

Sounds about right in terms of the rest of the car being held together by Tarzan glue and sticky tape.

Ok the plus side at least that means we can get stuff fixed at bunnings.

Hoping that this is the case, Bob, although have been reading of a few instances where Etis has been updating with the fix requirement after arrival in the UK and prior to or following delivery.

What better excuse for a charitable sausage sizzle.

I can almost smell it from here.

Oh god... I can remember the last time I got one of those. Most underwhelming experience ever lol...

I had both expectations in my mind of a nice hot dog with sauces on it.

What did I get? Chopped up things that don't resemble anything of a sausage, on top of a slice of white bread lol

I have never been able to go to Bunno's just once when I need anything...it's always either the wrong part, or broken when I get home.......usually requires three trips past the sausage sizzle......if only they sold a beer with the snag.......

I was surprised when I heard what the fix was...I thought it was a wiring harness change or part harness change, but they just tie the wiring away from the manifold.

I have seen many mentions of "window stickers". What are they, and how do you get them ?
