I would be talking to your Dealer Principal and asking for answers.
Yes, they can speak to Ford Australia and get answers.
I ordered mine on 10/06/15 - About 5 weeks prior to you.
Built 10/03/16
Departed Baltimore on 11/04/16
Arrived at Port Kembla 11/05/16
Delivered to me on 24/05/16 - It was available for delivery on 20/05/16, however I was away at the time.
From order to delivery was 11 months and 2 weeks.
This time appears to be the norm for cars ordered around May, June, July 2015.

I guess you can't get them that quick down under, but I wish we could get some of the badassery you guys get. Hell I wish I could order a Falcon or ute . Yea that's a long time though.

Hi Horseless I feel your pain!! It is way too long to be waiting without being shipped. I ordered mid July 2015 and it was built on the 20th of July 2016 and not shipped until 17 Sept on Talisman. I thought I waited a long time to get on a boat!!!! You better be on the next ship. I think I would be asking my dealer or Ford Australia what's going on. Keep us posted I'll be watching with interest. I don't know if I remember correctly but I thought Aus. regulation required a car to be shipped within 60 days of build to be imported as new?

Ford Australia have giving me no explanation at all, customer service tells me to be patient as its worth the wait. My dealer, who has not once returned a call gives me a delivery date and then when that date nears gives me another delivery date.
The only thing I can think of ,is that the car was damaged post production as shiploads of cars have sailed that were built after mine.
All excitement over this purchase has vanished.

- dealer ordered in system 11-12-15
- blend date 6-6-16
- then It had to go to another facility to get stripes,
- scanned at Baltimore terminal 11-7 16
- received at Baltimore terminal 12-7-16
- Loaded on the Tarago 20-7-16
- liner released 17-8-16
- discharged Port Kembla 20-8-16 ready for customer 27/8
359 days
Built 18/7/2016
127 days
Delivery 20/11/2016 (expected - this is 4th ETA)
Yet to be booked for shipping though.
486 days

Above is just one example of order/delivery time differences.Nearly 7 months. There are heaps of examples of auto/manual colour combinations.

To give you an idea here are my time line:
Ordered: Early Feb
1st Email from Ford : 27/7/16 Build completed at Flatrock, Detroit (eta to port 20 days)
2nd Email from Ford : 17/8/16 Left port at Baltimore
3rd Email from Ford : 21/9/16 Arrived at Fremantle port (actually it was unloaded about 5 days before as I got the ship tracking info and was tracking it constantly)
Pick up car : 28/9/16
So just under 2 months from built to arriving at docks. Around 240 days from order to delivery for my Oxford white EB Pony.

That's a hellish long time. I really feel your pain. Mine was also slow after being built, getting to the docks and then missing a couple of boats. This final wait with no-one taking responsibility is the most arduous.
However, I love my car, and tolerate my dealer. I hope to have as little to do with them as possible in the future. Is it worth the wait? Of course it is! But your wait is ridiculously effing long. Keep us updated on your progress.
Looking forward to your new screen name sooner rather than later
