My driver's side was replaced under warranty for the original part - and I'm keeping a close eye on it! (passenger's side got replaced with the revised part)
The rear wheels will happily spin if a give t a bit too much right foot - particularly in the wet, particularly as they hit the white painted line at the lights etc. If the front wheels are turned, it will also skip sideways.
Does anyone else's car spin happily with the wheels pointed straight...
I've had my GT 4 1/2 years now. Many times (not intentionally), I've had rear wheel spin, and the back end slide out a bit. I've always thought "s&%t, if this is what it's like with traction control on, I wouldn't like to try it with traction control off" - just thought "this is what it's like...
Are the boots on the front shocks meant to be floating around like this? (That is, not secured down somewhere / somehow ?)Mustang Shocky Boot by steerage250 posted Jun 7, 2020 at 4:26 PM
I had my windshield replaced here in Australia. My insurance policy said they could use any Australian Standard glass. They wanted another AUS$1,000 (US$600) to fit fit the genuine glass. I decided that if I really wanted a Ford logo on my windscreen (the only one on the outside of the car)...
My original battery just died and I went looking at the Century batteries site. The DIN53LX MF at 600CCA looked like the unit for the job - but no stock anywhere in WA! They could get some from Brisbane and it'd be here in a couple of weeks - excellent - not! Supercheap's price was $306 and...
Anyone else find their left hand rear tyre wearing-out much faster than the right?
After 30,000km my right hand tyre (original Pirelli PZero) is still quite legal - but my left hand tyre is definitely not legal any more. I can only put this down to the limited slip diff forcing some wheel spin...
A chip in my windscreen from a couple of months ago suddenly grew right across my line of sight - time to fix it. RAC Insurance sent me to O'Briens Glass who (when questioned) said there was no Ford logo in the fritting behind the rear vision mirror. RAC's fine print says they can replace the...
I couldn't find a place to download the update. I found a place to request a download for an update to my Sync2 (which I did) - does that include the maps, or is just an "operating system" update ?
No, it won't be a simple arithemetic offset (ie it won't be the same absolute error at all speeds) - it will be a percentage error (hence both will read zero together, but the absolute error will get bigger and bigger the faster you drive)
I have fitted the Ryco Z928 for 3 years up until the last change when I used the FL-500S - and will use it again as it is cheaper than the Ryco. One disadvantage is that I've had to go out and buy a new filter cup for the FL-500S (needs a 75mm 30 dimple tool). I didn't compare lengths, bit...
I'm chasing a right hand fog lamp lens (or complete lamp if the lens cannot be removed). Mine is cracked. I don't want to pay Ford's list price as the light is not used (the DRL bulb is disconnected as I have the LED tribars, and we basically don't get fog in Perth), so I'm just replacing it...
