I wonder if you could use your backup camera as a rear dash cam. I know in my 2012 Focus you could leave the back up camera on until you reached 5 or 10 miles an hour. I have a convertible on order so a rear camera is problematic.

Yes that would be cool. Id imagine the models with adaptive cruise control already have a front facing camera too, be nice if you could tap into those. My wife's odyssey has a front facing camera and there doesn't appear to be anyway to tap into that (easily), may be poor quality though.

There's a delay. The one that's hidden turns off after 15 or 20 min. Not sure about the one under the radio/MFT.
Fuse 36 under the passenger kick panel is switched power.

+1. I heard you could attach a rear camera to a roll bar with the verts, but I don't like roll bars so that ain't happening.
