That was the whole reason I was willing to wait 6 months, as I knew (thought) I would get the latest updates.

So lebanon got mine installed yesterday but I'm still waiting to get it back which won't be until Friday maybe Monday.... but after reading the past couple posts I decided to look back at the picture they sent me and sure enough I don't have the upgraded intercooler lid... I also ordered in December and waited so long in part because I was told it's a newer design...

The posts on intercooler made me go look. Anybody know what the real world performance difference is? Any chance there producing casting from the two different molds as a catch up measure.

My 12/22 ordered whipple also only has one coolant line on the left. Not sure what the difference means

There is no way that we are getting the whole story, but there are going to be a lot of angry phone calls made today due to that post.
Also noticed that this was sent to Australia! I thought the date formatting looked strange.

Called whipple and was informed they just have 2 styles and there's no performance difference between the 2... which doesn't make much sense to me.

I wounder if we are mixing 2 different products. The one with the 2 outlets looks like the 3.8L supercharger. The single outlet is a 3.0L model.

Mine is a 3.0 with the two provisions on the passenger side. No one in this thread has the mack daddy 3.8 that I'm aware of.

I'm not buying that one bit. I think they are trying to catch-up by using the old and new molds. Maybe different suppliers are doing the molds? No idea on the performance difference, but why would they change from the single to the double on the passenger side if there is no reason behind it? Smells fishy to me.

That's my thought process... but he swore up and down there was no performance difference; by why change something that's not broken?
