It's been a looong time since I thought my car would influence a woman. Now maybe a Ferrari?
lol. I am in my mid 30's, and even if I had a Ferrari, m5, or Lambo, it would only attract 19-21 year old's whom fathers would kill me to see them with their daughters.

Somebody's feeling are definitely hurt, that much is evident. You don't need to have an inferiority complex about your stang. Nothing wrong with a v6 bro, just enjoy it, my little sister is asking for one for her birthday. But if you have to bash other cars to make yourself feel better do what you gotta do I guess.
Haha, that's funny. :)

I don't own a v6 nor do I have an inferiority complex. I beat v6 and GT Mustangs, why would I feel inferior? I also beat your friend's Honda. ;)

The EB's engine will send it to its own grave.

"Only" 300hp? Oh lawd how times have changed. My V6 had something like 190HP from the factory.
I remember when the 5.0 V8 only had 200HP.

Not sure why people are beating up on V6s. It has more HP stock than V8 Mustangs ('65 w/289, '73 w/351, and '86 w/302) I had in the past...

Personally, I think that CAFE is the major reason why they killed off the V6 Mustang, as EB has higher rated MPG and having more EBs will raise the fleet MPG.

But as cars get bigger and fatter they need more power to deliver the same performace.

Plus we're in the middle of a horsepower war. So if you don't want to get outrun by mini vans and work trucks, you need more power.

Ford's global marketing strategy did, not CAFE. Ford's baby is Ecoboost and soon, alternative powertrain systems like hybrid everything. Except for a few very niche areas like the Voodoo or the Coyote, everything is going that route in Ford's portfolio.
