BMW
All models that end with 28i and 30i
Ex: 328i, 330i, 528i, 428i, 430i, 128i.

Mercedes
All models that end with 250, 300, and 350
Ex: C300 Sedan/Coupe, CLA250, C350 Sedan/Coupe

Audi (Not really confident on this one, wasn't really much of a fan of their cars :p)
All models that begins with an A with the exception of A7 and A8
Ex: A3, A4, A5

Porsche
Don't even try lol, they make great cars at all levels. 718 Cayman is their lowest model but it's pretty quick.

The ones in bold are your natural competitors.

I'd say the EB was the V6's biggest predator. It sent the V6 to it's grave.

Here are some articles to back up the fact that the 3.7 V-6 S550 is the 2nd coolest mustang after the GT350, but then one could bring up price...:

....so in review, anyone who owns the s550 V-6 has the same car as the Ego-boost and the 5.0, but at less cost. We don't have to worry about dumping out our catch-cans, or purchasing a new fuel rail out of warranty, we pay less money for insurance, and our cars have speed density not MAF, our cars are rated with 87, but with 92, our computers can advance timing, and with a tune, we can have our red lines back to 7,000 rpm's, where it was in the previous generation before fuel cut.

I took Ford's 60 month warranty on my OEM Goodyear tires (at least for the fronts:-)) and got Michelin Pilot Sport S3+ This is my daily driver, and she puts a smile on my face every day.

Shouldn't be too tough to figure out, the V6 does 0-60 in approx 5.5-5.8 seconds right? Just need to find out which ones of those cars are slower. In a lot of cases it will come down to driver skill, not HP numbers.

I'm very happy with the V6. Excellent compromise of power, efficiency, low cost, and reliability. I came from a V6 Accord and it my V6 Mustang feels pretty close power wise, but the rest of the experience is so much more enjoyable.

Yea I'm not so sure about those Audis. The 2017 A4 with all wheel drive can hang with both the Ecoboosts and the V6 in a 0-60 race

The EB's engine will send it to its own grave.

"Only" 300hp? Oh lawd how times have changed. My V6 had something like 190HP from the factory.

With a tune the 2.0T A4s can dip low into the 13s in a quarter mile.

Im not sure what a V6 runs in the quarter stock, but my lightly modded 2012 Mazdaspeed3 (big intake, secondary cat delete, intercooler, and E85 tune) ate that thing for lunch 3 separate times.
