Terrible Throttle Response after MODS

5033979 is the new tune revision request - received a few weeks back.

Car checked yesterday, Tuesday. Mechanic can't find any problems. No leaks, etc. Says exhaust piping is too large -_- this is the 2nd mechanic to say this, and 1 muffler professional said this as well. Still experiencing difficulty off the line, normal driving -6spd manual

Hard for me to believe this due to there being absolutely noone experiencing low rpm power loss. Then again, google search shows a BUNCH of links regarding piping size to power loss issue.

I dont think exhaust is the problem. Anyway, thank you in advance, Alex!!

So just another mechanic doing a visual check and finding nothing. So I take it they didn't have a Ford IDS scan tool to run any type of real diagnostics on your car? So did they install the Corsa exhaust also? If so same symptoms I assume?

Let's please put the "exhaust is too big" theory to bed. Let's not mention that again. These mechanics that have looked at your car have done nothing but visual checks, no true in-depth diagnostics. History will tell you it's not the exhaust piping size.

My advise (again): take the car to the dealer OR a shop that has Ford IDS scan tool capabilities.

If that advice is too hard or difficult for you then I guess you can just live with your problem.

Charolls ive been a mechanic for 26 yers 12 spent as a ford tech back in the early 90s.Believe me man i am being sincere their is now way a CATBACK exhaust would cause the systems u are having,unless however installed it crimped one of the pipes completley closed on left something in the exhaust to block it.I do believe ur having this issue but dont want to see u buy an exhaust for nothing.Pm me and maybe i can walk u through some things to check.

I didn't read all of the thread but a couple of yrs ago a well known shop emailed me the wrong tune for my 2013 GT......and it ran like complete crap. They caught the mess up after I asked them to double check.
