Let's call a time out right here.

Unplugging your maf then starting the car WILL trip a CEL within 3 seconds once the front o2's read the unmetered air. That's why its all stupid at idle.

Plugging it back in and starting the car seems all good with no CEL, but that code is still stored in the computer, even when the light is out. These stored codes, as insignificant as it seems, can do stupid things to a MAF car.

If the place that installed your cat back unplugged an o2 for whatever reason, started the car forgetting to plug it in, then fixed it, it could have the same effect.

I know you said that there isn't a light now, but did you actually scan for codes with your x4? It takes about 45 seconds if you haven't. Scan, clear, check.

Could be nothing, but at worst, its something ruled out.
I suggested this a few pages ago, as well as a few post's ago.. seems OP has zero desire to either scan car or advise if he has done so and simply states no CEL, which isn't that helpful as your aware...

scanning car for stored DTC is usually the first thing you should do to avoid chasing your tail. As stated Just because CEL is off doesn't mean a soft code has not been triggered. Hard codes/faults usually result in CEL illumination.

who cares if they havent requested it yet. DO IT and send it in. It will clear up alot of your questions, headaches, posts, and anything else that doesnt make sense. No offense but you should really read more and learn about your car before going any further with mods.

I've had 4 different tunes on 2 different 2015 Mustangs GT's and they all needed that info. Actually Lund just needed the last 3 digits of the SWPN code, but then had me check the other info also.

2011-2014 Mustangs the large 4 digit code was all that was needed...the 15's are different.

Check this vid out on how to get that info...

From Beefcake's site...look at the picture of the computer sticker...they (Lund) need the 3 digit code to tune:

http://www.teambeefcakeracing.com/lura20fomucu.html

From BAMA's site...How to read strategy code (2015 Mustang in pics):

https://support.bamaperformance.com...ow-to-read-a-Strategy-Code-on-Bama-SCT-X4-SF4

But then here they say: 2015 Mustang tunes require Strategy or PCM Part Number Only

http://bama.americanmuscle.com/custom.php

And here they have a pic showing the 4 digit code (scroll down to bottom of page for the 2015):

http://www.americanmuscle.com/computercode.html

Maybe BAMA is doing things differently then everyone else...who knows. But if I were the OP I'd want clarification.

Who's tune do you have? I'm assuming BAMA
Bama 91 tune and JLT went on today after work. No issues at all. Drove fine on a short trip to the store and back. Didn't get a chance to rip on it yet.

Dubster99, thank you. My issue might not be the tune, then.
Also, I scanned my car with the SCTX4: no codes found (I forget the exact verbiage)

As I JUST parked my car (and as I was parking it), I smelled some unusual odor coming from the engine(or just around the front of the car). All gauges read normal:
-14.0 air/fuel ratio
-20~ oil pressure
-vac reads fine

Uh oh?
Gonna go check it out again..

This is pretty annoying. Leaving my car at the mechanic all day, tomorrow.

UPDATE

This will annoy you guys; it annoyed the hell out of me, atleast. Ready?

Apparently a 30-year in the business mechanic lives atop my level in the condo, so I politely asked him to check out the situation. Explained the situation, yadi yadi bla bla bla.

He checked for leaks. None. Checked idle, none. Checked the...well, you get the point - he checked for everything.

"Where's your muffler?" (I proceed to show him) "WTF?"
I guess it's his first time seeing chambered exhausts.

His diagnoses: Maybe the catback. (Don't want to waste your guys's time but, I'm serious. He's the 3rd guy to tell me this.)

p.s. car doesn't smell any more after a short drive. I swear, I'm drugs on not.

EDIT: I tell EVERYONE that tells that me my problem is related to the exhaust, that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of other SW CATBACK owners who have NO issues.

The SW catback is not your problem, period. Perhaps you are just one of those really paranoid people and in reality the car runs just fine..? Since you don't want to take any of our advice and datalog the car why don't you just take it to the dealer since the tune/cai is not on the car? That way you stop posting your nonsense here and wasting people's time, although I do have to admit, this thread is kind of entertaining

95cobby,

I'm constantly being apologetic and thankful to all who've taken time out of their day to help out a guy they don't even know - I'm very sincere whenever I do so.
I'm just updating any car-related stuff as they happen. I've took most of the advice from you guys, from checking for leaks / tightness of mods, etc. I've took the car to four different shops for diagnoses - I've wrote somewhere here what the mechanics' take was.

Datalogging is the only thing I haven't done yet, as I am still waiting on BAMA to reply back. I've said this already. I've also said I do not believe it's the tune or intake, and neither do the shops. I've also said that the problem started the moment I drove off the lot with my brand new SW Catback.

The next time I post something will be when this issue gets resolved.

Thanks to all that's helped so far.

take a freaking log and send it in!

Below are the parameters we need you to manually select before you begin logging.
ect_degf
iat_in_degf
load
maf_flow_rate_lb_per_min
maf_frequency
measured_afr_bank_1
measured_afr_bank_2
rpm
spark_advance
spark_advance_v2
torque_source
vehicle_speed_mph
short_term_trim_1
short_term_trim_2
knock_sensor
throttle_angle_actual
The process to get the log is this:
Once the car is started and up to operating temp, start the log. Let the car idle for at least 2 minutes. Drive the car like normal for a couple minutes. Now, do a couple 3rd gear WOT pulls from 2500-7200 RPM. Once you have done the WOT pulls you are done. Save the Log as a .CSV file and reply to this email with the log as an attachment.

Or! Put your stock exhaust back on and see what happens. This issue has been going on way too long, which tells me you're trolling us. BAMA/AM is pretty quick to solving issue. Who did you buy the Shit Works exhaust from?

The issue is not the SW exhaust persay. Now if something was botched up on the install it is all extremely possible. We have installed dozens of the stainless works exhaust here in the shop and never had an issue. Judging by you attitude posting, you best bet is to return everything to stock and see if it solves the issue.

So you ordered a Corsa exhaust and selling SW? Hope this will actually fix your issue, will be a chunk of change not needed to be lost.

Maybe you can explain better what your issue exactly is. You mention it bogging out on you and having to gas it 4k rpms. But you drove 3000 miles with this issue, since putting on the exhaust?
