While I have not taken delivery of my 2016 GT, I fully expect I will want to improve the throttle response. From what I understand, most vehicles have a "roll on" map that is fairly slow (i.e., when you press down, the map slowly increases the actual throttle opening, thereby "rolling on" to the engine response).
I would love HP/torque gains, but they are not my primary concern and I would be fine without them entirely. I don't know if I would notice a 5% gain in power.
I am interested in response time as I want to be able to control my vehicle's roll-on with my foot rather than with a static algorithm. As I have a base GT coming, I won't have "driving modes". I would like to be able to detune for a long road trip, but that's also a secondary consideration. I know how to drive economically (by adjusting my foot).
Has anyone run multiple tunes and can comment on which one is better for throttle response?
Does anyone just have one tune and can comment on that tune's ability to improve throttle response?
