While I have not taken delivery of my 2016 GT, I fully expect I will want to improve the throttle response. From what I understand, most vehicles have a "roll on" map that is fairly slow (i.e., when you press down, the map slowly increases the actual throttle opening, thereby "rolling on" to the engine response).

I would love HP/torque gains, but they are not my primary concern and I would be fine without them entirely. I don't know if I would notice a 5% gain in power.

I am interested in response time as I want to be able to control my vehicle's roll-on with my foot rather than with a static algorithm. As I have a base GT coming, I won't have "driving modes". I would like to be able to detune for a long road trip, but that's also a secondary consideration. I know how to drive economically (by adjusting my foot).

Has anyone run multiple tunes and can comment on which one is better for throttle response?

Does anyone just have one tune and can comment on that tune's ability to improve throttle response?

It sounds like the JMS PedalMax is exactly what you're looking for. I installed mine this week, and it makes a very noticeable difference. If you search through that thread, you'll see that Beefcake has a forum discount, so you can pick one up for about $250 (without the extra control knob). I opted to go without the knob, but in retrospect, I probably should've just ponied up the extra cash so I could mess around and play with it, but it's certainly worth it even if you don't get it.

This does sound like exactly what I need. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction, guys!

Silver GT, I am reconsidering the tune entirely due to this new information, but I have not updated my sig yet.

I have also heard, in the thread referenced above, that the Bama tune (and other non-custom tunes) will not address throttle response.

By the way, how do you like your exhaust? I'd love to hear in person sometime and I live nearby. Message me if you wouldn't mind revving a few times :)

A tune will definitely address the throttle response and if you go with Lund it is a custom tune when you data log.

The Corsa exhaust sounds great but installation needed a little more work than I would have liked. I'll PM you about getting together.

A tune is not a product but rather a service. When you purchase a tune from any of the reputable tuners on this or any other forum you can get them to write it for your specific needs and goals.
