Telematics Fuse #8

Am I losing my mind or is there no #8 fuse? Passenger footwell fuse panel. I see 7 and 9 but no #8 which is said to provide power to the nanny modem. 21 Mach 1 if it matters.

Ok maybe I figured it out. Manual says it’s #8 and that #9 is not used. The diagram shows 8 and 9 together like it’s one fuse. #8 is labeled in the diagram but is not in tge actual fuse block. 8/9 currently has a 5 amp fuse in it which matches what I’ve been told is correct for the modem. I’m thinking if I pull this fuse 8/9 I should silence the snitch. Correct?

You got it, it's a double fuse. That one was new to me too. Somebody solved a problem that nobody had.

Yes, nothing else affected but the phone home FordPass modem. I've been running without that whole fuse for a year now on a 2022 premium.

#8, it is next to 09 but not directly labeled on the fusebox.

@Jaymar showed it correctly. It’s the double fuse occupying the #9 slot (and #8 but it’s unmarked) in the passenger footwell fuse block. The #9 fuse spot isn’t used for anything so you know the fuse was there for the unmarked #8 spot powering the modem.

I pulled the fuse and the power harness at the modem. The other 2 connectors coming out of the modem are antenaeas.
