Everyday is Sunday…..I've been retired so long I forgot what that is like.
Yup, we’re all waiting on you to turn some wrenches and run some more test. LOLHaha I have it pretty easy, im not complaining. I basically did nothing the last 2 days.
Not me. I enjoy beating up 10R80 cars with my, as most put it, POS MT82, with it's POS stock clutch.Ya I wish I got the 10 speed
I think a dct car would be very fun. Like my automatic but actually shifts fast. I’ve driven the gt500 around the dealership lots a few times and I’m so use to the delay in the 6r80 paddleshifters that it felt like the gt500 was shifting before I pressed the paddle. Was a very trippy experience. Not me. I enjoy beating up 10R80 cars with my, as most put it, POS MT82, with it's POS stock clutch.
Kids these days.... Smh. 15 years ago (and more) people caught in automatics got made fun of. LolI think a dct car would be very fun. Like my automatic but actually shifts fast. I still need to try a manual car as a daily. I’ve driven them a lot in parking lots and a few times on the open road but I’m not good enough where I can drive automatically without thinking about every shift.
Haha lots of people still like manuals. I’m just not very confident driving one yet.Kids these days.... Smh. 15 years ago (and more) people caught in automatics got made fun of. Lol
You’re not wrong, it did shift before you hit the paddle.it felt like the gt500 was shifting before I pressed the paddle
pretty sure there is one. But the real answer here is an actual seq trans.I wish they made a sequential shifter kit for the mt82. I think that would be sick
I was one of the lucky ones, Bo & Luke Duke were my virtual driving instructors on the gravel roads of Chippewa and Clark County Wis. before virtual was a thing.pretty sure there is one. But the real answer here is an actual seq trans.
When I took driver's ed in 1988 a stick wasn't even an option. Granted having to learn stick as part of the summer-school program would have needed an extra solid hour per student and the patience of Mother Teresa. I had no great skills but the sheer lack of coordination, vision, and fore-thought on display by my classmates was harrowing, and they only had to work 2 pedals!
My parents obviously learned on stick and drove only stick cars in Japan from 1973 onward. So to show up in USA with just auto on offer was a surprise.
Like 40 milliseconds fast !Ah, I understand what you are saying now. The point is they are crazy fast and the paddle shifters have great response time!
